Mario the owner was very hospitable and friendly. He even provided us with the room after check out as we had a Mt Etna tour. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was clean. I highly reccomend this stay.

Very personal B&B

We stayed here for three days. As Trecastagni is quite a large village, we had problems to find it. Once found, it turned out that this was a private house before and then adapted to a small bed and breakfast. There are only 15 beds available. Our room was quite large. Emiglio, the owner, is managing the b&b together with his mother. He is very nice and really cares about his guests. For this personal attention, I felt like a private guest in his house. The breakfast is served at the terrace. The breakfast does not fulfil the reqirements of a 3 stars breakfast, as there is e.g. only one type of jar. There is also cooked ham, cheese and cakes. The croissants are not fresh ones, but prepackaged in plastic. The orange
jar is perfect and tastes self-made. Coffee is also quite good.
There is parking available but you must arrange yourself with the other guests (but I think if the cars are put after each other, there is enough space for all of the guests. You can be assured that Emiglio will do everything that you can put your car inside the closed gate and in general, to be attent that you have a pleasant stay. All in all, I was very content with the b&b and I would definitely stay here again. Trecastagni is also a very nice village and at a short walk you find supermarkets, a nice square with bars and restaurants. Although it is very near to the Etna, it is not a touristic place and you feel that you are in an authentic sicilian village. You are in about 15-20 Minutes at the motorway at Acireale. The Etna road is about 10 minutes drive away, starting from Nicolosi.

Casa di montagna

Sono stato solo una notte in questo B&B ma posso assicurarvi che la gentilezza del proprietario, la pulizia e l'ambiente caratteristico della struttura mi hanno colpito molto! Colazione abbondante e molto buona, ubicazione strategica per le escursioni sull'Etna,consiglito!

Perfetto per l'escursione sull'etna

Ottimo posto, pulito con bagno in camera. Strategico per le escursioni sull'Etna. Gentilissimi i gestori: anche se dormiamo una notte, ci tengono la camera fino al primo pomeriggio per rinfrescarci un volta tornato dall'escursione (escursione di mezza giornata)
