A Great Visit

The Isola Di Mezzo,27 is a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the Mini Suite so much. Egle was a great host being so helpful and attentive as well as giving us lots of local information making it easy for us. Following her recommendation of restaurants we chose the nearest and it was so good we ate there every night. The apartment is in a very good location being central and only 10 metres from the Piazza Pio X where the No6 bus stops direct to /from the airport. Don't take the airlink bus as it terminates at the railway station. We will return.

This is a totally delightful place to stay

The bedroom and bathroom are on a separate corridor in a gorgeously appointed apartment in an ancient, beautifully appointed building in the center of Treviso. The hostess and her husband are welcoming and delightful. Their hospitality more than makes up for the fact that neither of them speaks English, but their grandson, Filippo, is available on check-in to explain the accommodations and nearby restaurant suggestions in his excellent English. Egle makes excellent use of an app that translates whole paragraphs from Italian to English and vice versa. So, she is able to communicate very well. The room is immaculate, furnished with elegant handmade linens on the table tops, and a very comfortable bed. Egle makes very certain that you are totally comfortable and provides a plentiful Italian continental breakfast for you to help yourself to (it is only the one suite, so you are private) in the elegant kitchen.
All the recommendations of restaurants that Egle made were perfect!
The bathroom is elegant, with all marble furnishing. The tub has a hand-held shower attachment, and we were given good instructions on how to handle any overspray from the shower spray from the unenclosed tub, which worked just fine, and the tub was very luxurious.
