Outstanding place to stay!

Bravo for Roberta & Roberto and his Campanelle 54. Modern, renovated, perfectly clean, comfortable, silent and well-organized, spacious apartment with great view of the port... Great internet, TV channels offer. It's easy to reach the centre of Trieste, by foot not more than 25 minutes of nice walk. Great value for money. My highest recommendation if you planning to spend few days in this lovely city.

Quiet but decentralized location

Nice studio apartment, well furnished and equipped with a kitchen, in a quiet location with few noises... a sore point is the very decentralized location and in a narrow street where it is difficult to find parking. Good if you want to sleep peacefully but bad if you want to visit and experience Trieste even in the evening... you have to travel by car with the problem of not finding parking.

Great apartment for stay

I have just a great words for Roberta and Roberto and his Campanelle 54. Modern, full renovated for this summer, perfectly clean, comfortable... and Roberta has patience for ever my question and request. My recommendation if you planning to spend few days in Trieste.

Not a bad place to stay, not good if you're bringing a car

Room is fine, a bit damp. Corridor outside smells damp and possibly of cat wee. Building has been superficially renovated but the basics like electricity and hot water are fairly rudimentary. Perhaps normal for Italy. Only two of the hob / stove functions work but there is a microwave we didn't use. No kettle but you can ask for one.
Absolutely no food e.g. oil or salt is provided. The only toileteries were a giant bottle of Lidl soap and show gel. Despar supermarket is walkable distance. Wifi works OK.
We drove and choose to park on the street which was a mistake as someone decided to snap off the windscreen wipers overnight. Not sure if this was us having a larger car or one with foreign number plates. You can get around on the local buses cheaply for €1.25 for up to 60 minutes, so maybe better not to bring a car.
Owner insisted on being paid in cash, but Italian guests were using credit cards I think,
In Trieste I strongly recommend Museo Revoltella and swimming at Muggia is great. Free parking in Muggia before 2 June.

Too many stairs

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment with great view of the port and city BUT it's located on the third floor of the building and you have to carry all your staff for so many stairs..... Good internet
