For the location the price was really good, really clean, nice kitchen. I didn’t know how to use the stove or coffee maker, probably my fault. If traveling on a budget it’s a very good and safe choice

We spend three nights without a duvet
The duvet was missing for the entire stay. We reported the problem shortly after midnight on our first night and understood that the property could not resolve it immediately. However, since we spent the first night without the expected bedding, we requested compensation, but our request received no response.
On the second day, a "blanket" of the type usually kept in the wardrobe was brought to the room, but the duvet remained missing. No apology was offered, and there was no apparent effort to resolve the underlying issue.
On the third day, we contacted the property again to ask how they intended to address the situation and mentioned that we would describe our experience in an online review. Instead of proposing a solution, we received a lengthy message stating that our "request for financial compensation, combined with threats of a negative review if the property failed to do so, is behavior that is treated seriously and has been reported to the authorities." We found this response surprising and disproportionate. Rather than focusing on resolving a legitimate complaint about missing bedding, the property appeared more concerned with warning guests about the consequences of leaving negative reviews.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend Residence Theresia to guests who expect standard bedding to be available throughout their stay, who expect complaints to be handled with appropriate customer service, or who would prefer not to receive messages referring to the property's legal department and authorities during the course of a customer dispute.

Great stay, apartment was clean and had very thing needed for a short stay. Location is excellent. Our only challenge was AC, it was very hot and the AC didn’t appear to have any cooling effect.

This is a lovely apartment in a very convenient location in the city centre. It is spacious, with good amenities and good light. The heritage building adds to the property's character. I would be happy to stay at this property again.

No AC or fans in May! Be warned. You can open the windows to cool down. Also, outside people smoke and mosquitoes come inside!!
We stayed a night to take a look around Trieste. We booked this place based on positive reviews and good price, but it was less than ok, unfortunately.
Location was good - walkable to station and the beautiful Port area, and restaurants and Aldi.
I was told when booking there was no staffed reception. (I booked through a third party service that I don't normally use, which also wasn't very good, but that's another story!) I completed online pre check in, and arrived to an empty lobby and no signage apart from a phone number. I didn't receive any check in instructions. I had no phone service, but luckily you can call using whatsapp. The person guided me through the check in using an ipad with a video call. It felt very impersonal. This is how I accessed the key and the room. A bit convoluted, but it worked OK.
Room was sparse and simple. No signage or guidance apart from wifi.
It was very warm in the room. When the AC didn't work I called the number again and was advised there was no AC. This was news to me, and when I checked the listing it advised that AC is included. The AC would not even blow through a fan, and I was told to simply open the windows. Apparently this is a thing in Trieste in May as central air conditioning systems don't transition to summer until June! I just wish the listing made this clearer as I could have prepared myself better.
The room cooled down a little with the windows open, but the neighbours smoking wafted in, as did mosquitoes! So an ok sleep, but I got bitten in the night and I could hear them buzzing around my head.
In the morning, the AC unit started beeping continuously without warning! It wasn't even on! We were hot and were packing to leave anyway, so we just left as quick as we could and to get out of the hot room into the fresh air. I didn't bother to try and resolve!
My advice if you see this: have low expectations or try somewhere a bit better!
