Great location and view, with some aspects to improve.

The structure definitely has two major strengths: the location, very convenient for reaching the center and the beach, and the panoramic terrace where breakfast is served, with a truly enchanting view.
However, there are some aspects to improve. The main one concerns arrival: after 6 PM, the ZTL comes into effect, and it would be advisable to inform guests in advance about where to park. After a long journey, having to search for a last-minute solution, pay for private parking, and drag luggage is not the best way to start a vacation.
Breakfast is good, but a bit repetitive: some different options from one day to the next would be appreciated.
Finally, the structure gives more the impression of a bed & breakfast than a boutique hotel, and it also needs some renovation. The staff is kind and helpful, but some people cover multiple roles (for example, reception, breakfast, or rooms), and there is a lack of a clearly identifiable point of reference to turn to in case of need.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and, with better organization and more attentive communication towards the guests, the experience could be truly excellent.

What a disappointment!

The strong point is undoubtedly the location: right in the historic center with a splendid view! It's a pity that the room was very different from the photos! Very small, narrow, furnished with old furniture, hard bed, and zero space to turn around. The bathroom deserves a mention of its own... without windows or any ventilation system, a rotating toilet seat, and a crusty shower. Absolutely unjustified value for money. Just like the 3 stars!

Beautiful memories!

Boutique hotel is a "bonbonbonniere", beautiful location in the historic center of Tropea, with a terrace that opens your heart, spacious room. The reception ladies very kind and friendly, discreet and attentive to meet every need. An experience to remember and repeat! Beautiful memories.

Good location in Tropea with friendly staff. Interior design is not as ”boutique” as the name implies but still ok. Breakfast was also pretty OK; not a big buffet but once again good enough in Italian style. The view from the combined breakfast room/ bar is stunning.
The hotel is definitely good enough to go back to.

Stunning in every way. Great value accommodation.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were very very clean and the views were spectacular. The rooms were quiet and the beds were reasonably comfortable. A wide variety of Breakfast is served daily on the rooftop patio- indoors on windy day and outdoors on sunny nice days. Fresh savory choices , fruits, pastries, and more to go with your choice of cofe.
There is ac or a fan or a patio to keep you cool. The hotel has staff on duty 24 hr a day and it is a very secure and central place to stay. They have laundry racks and table and chairs on your patio. the photos tell the rest of this highly recommended, quaint, and lovely hotel. We will return one day!
