like a second home

I travelled alone and felt like "at home" at le vecchie mura. francesca and her staff made my stay a feel-good-experience from day one to the end. she is very flexible, rooted to the soil and helpful at any time in any case, if possible. the room and Service was far more than what i paid for. in a 5-star-hotel i couldn't have felt better. very recommandable also her homemade breakfast, which she prepares with lots of love and harvest from her own garden. won't be my last stay at le vecchie mura!

COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!

We arrived late one evening having cycled 100 miles. Francesca was extremely welcoming and flexible considering our late arrival. It also turned out I'd lost my mobile phone at some point during our cycle. Francesca didn't hesitate to offer me a lift and proceeded to drive me around the local area in search of the phone (which we found at 22.30pm!). She then even offered to book us in at a great local steak restaurant. The bedroom was very clean and neat with a lovely balcony with a stunning views over the town and countryside. Breakfast was a delicious mix of local pastries and coffee - on the balcony. Again, Francesca could not do enough for us: offering to look up train times, suggesting wines to try and even offering to let us stay all day if needed. Thank you Francesca, we will hopefully stay again!

Cortesia e attenzione sono i punti forti di questo B&B. La signora ha avuto sin dall'inizio mille premure, sempre disponbile in ogni fase, dalla prenotazione, al raggiungimento della struttura, al soggiorno. Quando sono arrivato è uscita fuori per aiutarmi, mi ha condotto nella stanza, chiesto a che ora volessi fare colazione, così da farmi trovare il tavolo imbandito sul terrazzino. Ambiente carino, curato, accogliente. Gli asciugamani profumavano di pulito. Tutto perfetto, non posso che consigliarlo!

Trevligt bemötande, Stor uteterass och bra frukost

Vi gillade den mysiga uteplatsen och att vi fick vår egen önskade frukost som vi är vana vid. En väldigt bekväm lägenhet av hög standard som vi verkligen kan rekommendera. Kvinnorna som äger lägenheten var dessutom mycket gästvänliga och trevliga.

Esperienza positiva..Come sentirsi a casa propria... curati i dettagli, pulito ed Alessandra una ragazza veramente ospitale...Sono andata per una sola notte ma se avrò bisogno di nuovo di recarmi nei dintorni lo prenderò senz'altro in considerazione...Pochi km da Firenze collegata dall'autostrada, quindi comodo ed economico....Ringrazio inoltre Alessandra per i consigli "turistici" per visitare il paese di FIGLINE e GREVE (veramente una chicca!!!) ....Grazie a presto....
