Out of this world
Before I do, I would say this: during our stay we spoke to a number of other guests, and none of us had anything negative to say about the hotel. For that reason, I would encourage anyone reading reviews that are highly critical or disparaging to approach them with a healthy degree of scepticism. Not one negative review written by other in the lead up to our visit concurs with our experience.
The Hotel
The Adler is a true oasis where you can completely switch off and leave everyday life behind. The peaceful atmosphere makes it incredibly easy to relax. Everything is immaculate, calm and beautifully maintained.
The staff deserve special mention. From the reception team, spa therapists and restaurant staff to the pool attendants and housekeeping team, everyone was warm, professional and genuinely welcoming.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented. Although there is no air conditioning, we simply left the large balcony doors open overnight and found this perfectly comfortable. The pool and surrounding outdoor areas are pristine, and the landscaping is on another level altogether—absolutely stunning.
The Food
The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. I noticed one review mentioning a lack of variety, but that simply wasn't our experience.
The Adler clearly takes pride in supporting local producers and showcasing regional ingredients. While there are signature local produce available each evening, eg Spec, the menu offers plenty of choice, complemented by an extensive nightly salad buffet just to get going with!
Every course is thoughtfully prepared, creatively presented and full of flavour. If you prefer, you can skip courses if the meal feels too substantial and you can pick and choose from the vegetarian side of the menu to the one with fish and meat. Dining here is a major part of the overall Adler experience. If you're an especially picky eater, this may not be the hotel for you—but it's certainly not because of any lack of quality or choice.
Activities and Spa
One of the pleasant surprises was the huge range of complimentary activities available. The hotel advertises the daily guided walks and cycling tours, but there's so much more on offer. You can book activities such as yoga, sound bath sessions, stretching classes, facial rolling workshops and various fitness sessions, usually 24–48 hours in advance and those are a mere fraction of what’s on offer.
The spa is outstanding. We enjoyed reflexology, the Nourishing Ritual and a myofascial massage to name only a few that we experienced and all were excellent and carried out to an exceptionally high standard with the utmost professionalism.
The guided cycling tours and e-bikes are fantastic, but don't assume an e-bike makes every ride effortless! Some of the routes are still challenging, so it's well worth chatting with the guides beforehand to choose the ride that best suits your ability.
The Staff
Every member of staff we encountered was fantastic. I would ignore reviews criticising the restaurant staff. They work incredibly hard in what is clearly a busy environment, yet they remain friendly, attentive, helpful and cheerful throughout.
To Conclude.
The Adler is one of those rare places that genuinely allows you to unwind and recharge. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional food, first-class spa facilities and outstanding staff combine to create a very special experience. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality escape.

Perfect place to recharge
The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the staff provide attentive and professional service throughout the stay. The food is of high quality, with a good variety across meals.
It’s a luxury experience, but one that feels worthwhile for the level of comfort and relaxation it offers. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return.

Tranqulity
They removed the afternoon snacks food, we miss that. After a long day skiing it was so good.

Great family trip
- no aircon in the rooms even in summer, it gets really hot
-old blood spots found on my duvet upon check in
- no coordination between the kids club and reception, no one at reception knows anything about the kids club - you have to go there personally to book kids for activities
- my husband is gluten free and we had to tell this to the staff at every meal, annoying they couldn’t have this on file especially if it’s the same table each night

Impeccable!
Super helpful staff, spacious rooms, absolutely high-level cuisine. We also took advantage of some services offered by the property directly on the ski slope. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
