Regenerating beauty, tranquility, harmony

A scent of yesteryear surrounds this small rural complex immersed in the harmony of the Friulian countryside and overlooking the mountains. The attention to every detail that recalls the simple life of the countryside blends with the attention to the comfort of the guest. The kitchen is made of authentic flavors of products mainly derived from own production, the welcome is kind and professional. The cleanliness is exemplary. You want to come back before you even leave.

An oasis of relaxation

Farmhouse surrounded by nature where you can really relax thanks to good food, excellent wine, the presence of a swimming pool and the friendliness and helpfulness of the managers. We stayed in a mini apartment, suitable for three people, furnished with care and with furniture / objects from the past farmer. Excellent value for money and the strategic location to visit Friuli Venezia Giulia. We felt right at home: free and happy.

A Trip with Friends

We spent a week at the back end of June at Carlo's & Frederica's, Borgo Floreani.
Despite the high temperatures it was great to be there. He had rooms with air-conditioning for the nights and a Poole to use during the day.
The food was excellent as we dined every night with him as well as celebrating a birthday.
He provided us with daily trips all round the region of Friuli which were excellent from the mountains to dining on the Adriatic cost.
We had a wonderful time and the place is highly recommended.
We will return to seem them again .

Friendly, remote and relaxing stop on our bike tour

We were traveling on bicycles along the Alpe-Adria route and this agriturismo was a convenient place on our bike route (15-20 km north of Udine). We didn't expect such a relaxing evening, with a pool, a home-made dinner, lots of locally grown wine - it was a great experience and we would gladly repeat it. A separate word about the personnel, from the first telephone call I could say we would be very welcome there. Highly recommended!! (We often chose agriturismo against a hotel, and we always love the places we stay.)

Beautiful setting. Well run. Great for families.

The large stone building appears to be quite old and may have once been a large manor house with connected barn. It’s very close to both San Danieli (14km) and Spilembero (31km), both gorgeous towns. There is plenty of car parking.
We had a very large room (35 sm) on the second floor with large double floor-to-ceiling French doors looking onto the courtyard and to the fields beyond. The floors were original planks and the ceilings had exposed beams. There was a king bed and a minimal kitchen set-up. The bathroom was large but the shower was very narrow. Only problem: no air conditioning until June. Fortunately it was not too hot.
The grounds consisted of two large grassy area with a swing set on one of them. This makes it ideal for families with young children. There is a lovely pool (though without a shallow end, so children would either need to be swimmers or be held by parents0. The farm area was quite large and there were chickens, turkeys, donkeys and geese
The owners, Federico and Carlo, were charming and worked extremely hard. Their English was excellent (although few Americans visit Friuli; it’s mostly Austrians.)
The food was excellent. We had dinner there both nights. The first night I had frico, a potato, cheese and onion dish local to the area; there were fresh strawberries at breakfast. There is an indoor dining room, but everyone preferred to be outside when we were there.
