Convenient location - would stay again
My husband and I have been traveling all around Italy for over a week now and spent the last 2 days in Venice at this Marriott Hotel. It was conveniently located just outside the bus station on the outskirts of the city. This suited us perfectly well as we have heavy luggage to move around during our 10 week European trip - this couldn't have been a more convenient location. Staying inside the city limits of course has its own charm, but after watching people with luggage trying to negotiate bridge after bridge with their bags, we were especially thankful we had the foresight to choose this hotel.
In addition to the convenient location, the rooms are comfortable and have adequate space. The bathroom is modern and the shower is large. We would most definitely stay here again.

Marriott AC Hotel Venice
Looking for a place to stay during our visit to Venice, I happened to spot a Marriott option that offered one very attractive advantage – a location right on San Marco Island! I first looked for hotels near the airport or other features I had considered. However, this location resolved plenty of issues for finding our way around Venice, plus the Marriott brand was quality reassuring. Upon our arrival from Marco Polo airport, our check-in with help from Michael was smooth. Although we had arrived prior to normal check-in time, he made an effort to find accommodations for us as quickly as possible. He also found two rooms for us close together which was much appreciated. They only offered a two-twin beds sleeping option, but we were here to see Venice and knew we would mostly only be in the hotel room for sleeping. They also offered breakfast for 20 Euros per person, and that turned out to be a nice surprise. Our room was small but adequate. The bathroom fixtures were up to date with a small walk-in shower but with plenty of hot water pressure. Perhaps the biggest drawback here was the very thin bath towels and no washcloths were provided. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating.

Cleaning the stairs outside
Good location. You can walk to almost everything, and taxis and buses are right next to the hotel. The atmosphere was good, and the rooms were nice too. I think the value for money was okay, and the cleanliness was fine. The noise level was very good, and the service was generally very good.
However, one thing really made me angry. When we checked out, we were sitting on the stairs waiting for a family member. All of a sudden, they decided to clean the stairs, so my family member had to move away and stand in the sun. They didn’t actually clean the stairs; they just poured a little water on them, which meant we couldn’t sit there anymore. I thought this was unnecessary and quite disappointing, especially since we were just waiting for a family member.

All of a sudden, they decided to clean the stairs, so my family member had to move away and stand in the sun. They didn’t actually clean the stairs; they just poured a little water on them, which meant we couldn’t sit there anymore. I thought this was unnecessary and quite disappointing, especially since we were just waiting for a family member.

Great Location.
While visiting Venice, we stayed at the AC Hotel Venezia and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic—just a 10-minute walk from the train station and a great starting point for exploring all that Venice has to offer.
Our room was a bit small, which is common in Venice, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the AC Hotel Venezia to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable place to stay while visiting this beautiful city.

Great location as it is on the canal but we’re able to take a cab from the cruise terminal right to the door of the hotel. The hotel its self was very nice also.
