Magical Venice Experience
A beautiful Venice-decor hotel. It's located right off the busy walkways, down a quiet street. The staff and hotel provide an intimate and personal Venice experience. I will always cherish the mornings and nights spent on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Al Ponte Antico Hotel has a wonderful, personable staff. The breakfasts were exceptional- don't ask Matayo for his omelette recipe, he won't reveal the secret. Also, don't miss the fresh pastries. Hope to visit again in the future,

a 4-star hotel of superlatives and a model for many 5-star hotels. Friendliness, service, cleanliness, breakfast, and rooms are all top-notch. The terrace invites you to linger. The location is unique and central. There is even an evening service in the room (not common for 4 stars). We thank Matteo for his hospitality.

Amazing stay every time!
My husband and I have been to Venice three times in the past 10 years and we have stayed at Al Ponte Antico every time. You won’t find a better hotel in Venice. Matteo and his team make you feel like family throughout your stay. Everyone greets you by name and is ready to help you in any way needed. The rooms are beautiful and decorated in authentic Venetian style. The best part of your stay will be the morning breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. There is no better way to wake up than sipping a cappuccino and eating a freshly made omelette while watching the canal come alive as the sun rises. I look forward to my next return to Venice and truly hope Matteo and his team will be here for years to come. Al Ponte Antico is what makes each trip here so special. Highly recommend!

Just the best!
A massive thank you to Matteo and ALL the Team at Al Ponte Antico for making our stay such an unforgettable one. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Every single member of the Team is so polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about Venice. Always willing to help, they gave us some fantastic recommendations of restaurants and places to visit.
This boutique hotel is also in a great location with its own private mooring and has the most romantic terrace looking onto the Rialto Bridge, the perfect setting for enjoying the delicious breakfast or watching the world go by while having a Spritz!
We stayed in a deluxe room with view over the Grand Canal, absolutely stunning.
Overall we could not recommend this place enough and cannot wait to return in the future.

What a find! Fabulous.
A big thank you to Matteo and everyone at the Al Ponte. An absolutely amazing stay from start to finish! We were treated like very special guests. It felt like a home from home. On our arrival to Venice we were met by a private taxi from the airport and a water taxi right to the hotel. All kindly arranged by the Hotel staff.
The room was just as we hoped with a lovely view onto the Grand Canal. Breakfasts were served on the terrace if weather allowed. There were lovely home made pastries, scrambled eggs, fruit & yogurts along with many other choices. The terrace was such a pleasant place to enjoy an afternoon or evening drink and chat to the other guests when they were around. It was so nice that all the staff new our names and greeted us with a friendly welcome whenever we where around the hotel.
We have been to Venice on other occasions but to be greeted in our room with a lovely bottle of Fizz from the hotel for my wife on her 70th birthday was so unexpected and such a lovely touch. It made the visit something special.
We will definitely be back to stay at the Al Ponte again.
