Good all round - especially the location.

Ca' dei Carmini is in a fantastic location with a supermarket nearby (as well as an independent butcher and a host of fantastic restaurants). Waxing lyrical about where the property is situated is made easy for other reasons too. From the Piazzale Roma it's a 12 minute walk and you will have a canal view to boot. Prices are reasonable and we found the apartment clean with a helpful host who met us on arrival and took the time to go through everything we needed to know. Are there things which would make it better or you might want/need? Yes, in fairness. In our apartment (number 7) there was no actual oven (just a hob), no toaster (and no alternative like a grill in the oven as there's no oven) & no iron or ironing board. I read that there was no iron for insurance reasons but they do provide them in other rentals - an oven too). It was no issue for us but do check the 'amenities' to ensure they are what you want. I will also mention there is a lift - a bit small and slow but worth knowing if you are on the upper floors. Overall it was great and we were very happy staying here and thank you.

Rooms are so basic

Information about the rooms were very unclear and misleading. The rooms were not as advertised, or the photos shown are not up to date. The bathroom was so basic and everything was so basic. The sofas are smelly and was given 2 towels 2 face towels ( for 5 nights stay!) I had to request for some more and they reluctantly agreed.
