Exclusive sanctuary in Venice
Within the sanctuary of Cinque Teste, Luana and Paolo have thought of every detail to make your stay at their luxury home perfect.
Luana was helpful and responsive in all communications in advance of our stay. Our pre-noon arrival meant the water level in the canal at their doorstep was too low for a boat arrival, so Luana met us at the Grand Canal, and walked us the very short 3 minutes back to her home (very easy, even with luggage). Luana provided a helpful orientation upon arrival, and made wonderful recommendations for dining, activities, and navigation.
Our family of 4 stayed in two of the three rooms for two nights. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. The photos they use to promote the rooms and property are true to the space.
Breakfast was included in our stay and made for a wonderful start to each day. With a fresh selection of homemade yogurt, fruit salad, fresh pastries, coffee, and juice, we wanted for nothing!
Luana and Paolo generously share their love of Venice through art, books, and treasures in and around their home and garden. The rooms and common spaces are immaculately maintained. Their back patio is a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee, and the large and gated garden offers a calm and quiet reprieve at any time of the day in this lovely and quiet neighborhood.
We highly recommend and would love to return on a future visit to Venice! Thank you, Luana & Paolo!

Simply delightful!
What a lovely experience we had at Cinque Teste! From the beginning, communication with Luana was easy and quick. We booked all three rooms and it was like having a fully staffed private home in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Venice.
First of all, location. This was my 6th time in Venice and I learned long ago to prefer the uncrowded areas - Santa Croce or Dorsoduro are my favorites. Cinque Teste is a quick walk across the bridge from Ste Lucia but worlds away from the hordes. With its large, tucked-away garden it's a sanctuary from the unbelievable masses of San Marco, yet close enough to all the sights that an easy 20 minute walk can take you to any sight when the busloads have departed. The restaurants and bars are all just a stroll away, and Luana had prepared several cicchetti walks for us to discover, though we never got past one bar.
Rooms and house - immaculately clean and comfortable - the beds are lovely with good linens, and the rooms beautifully decorated. There is a mini fridge with cold still and sparkling water, and the rooms either look out to the small adjacent canal or the birdsong filled garden.
Breakfast was a repast, with everything you could desire, including home made yogurt, delicious local ham, pastries, fruit, and coffees.

The property is BEAUTIFUL! Rooms were immaculate. The quiet garden and location of the property EXCELLENT! You are literally a 20 minute walk to everything! Breakfast was superb! The home looks like it could easily be featured in Architectural Digest. I can’t recommend this property, the owners and staff enough! Comfortable bed, air conditioning and canal view outstanding. The hospitality exceptional! The owner was the warm and welcoming; extremely knowledgeable and even provided an itinerary, which was extremely helpful. It was an incredible experience! We will absolutely return!

Welcomed as a family member rather than a guest into an authentic, artistic Venetian home.
Our 5-day stay at Cinque Teste in March was truly magical. Host Luana welcomed us like family the moment we arrived, greeting us at the door and surprising us with a printed, personalized itinerary full of handpicked attractions and wonderful restaurant recommendations.
She and her husband’s genuine care made us feel right at home throughout our stay and even took care of my partner when she felt unwell.
The apartment is immaculately renovated with elegant Venetian artistry, beautiful sculptures, soft lighting with modern comforts. The floor heating was a godsend in cooler March weather, keeping everything cozy, and the rare private garden offered peaceful escape.
What touched me most was Luana’s story: she and her husband spent nearly 30 months to renovate this house, only for it to flood just two weeks after completion, then COVID struck in less than a month. Their resilience and passion in the face of such setbacks are truly inspiring.
To all travellers, I highly recommend longer stay, our 5 days let us slow down, explore deeper into the Venetian culture and history as well as the surrounding lands (Murano, Burano, Dolomite and Lido) far beyond the usual 1-2 day rush.
Cinque Teste is authentic, luxurious, and heartfelt. Thank you, Luana, for an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return!
