Stay in Venice
We stayed two nights, I didn't like it because the building and rooms were very old...but from what I understand all the buildings in Venice are like this...the only positive thing was the heating which worked and it was warm and the location close to the central part! for just sleeping it might be fine... but I expected better!

It's a SCAM!!!
The host cancelled our booking the day we arrived in Venice. At 10pm at night we were left without accommodation! The host said there was a problem with the bathroom and he cancelled our stay on the booking. He was supposed to give us our money back within 14 days. It's been two months and still no money! Not to mention the stress and search for new accommodation in the middle of the night in high season! The host doesn't answer his email, doesn't answer his phone calls, he's just a bad and greedy person! Far away from such energy and such people.

WARNING SCAM
Don't book this hotel, the staff is rude and kept over 300 EUR in cancellation fees what a joke, we accidentally booked the wrong month and then tried to change it, but the hotel was booked out for the actual dates, so we had to cancel it and the hotel just kept pretty much all of the fees, DON'T DO IT.

Booked trip during pandemic, owner Claudio is a greedy infatuated man!
My parents booked a trip to this place in 2020 to take my daughter to Italy during her summer break, we do not live in Europe.
Sure enough the pandemic hit and they could not travel to Italy since the country was shut. Booking.com worked a voucher with Claudio (I have the email confirmation saying that they can go there until December of 2022).
I reached out to him saying that they would like to use the voucher this summer but Claudio's response was the following:
-to prove that I already payed (he used the money from 2020 till now, but he does not recall them paying)
-the prices went up, the room is now 160 euro, I would have had to pay extra to be able to use the voucher he committed to honor
-they can only stay two nights
After back and forth conversations, he says he is trying to help me and that he lost one million dollars and people lost their lives and I argue for 160 euro?
I am just baffled with his infatuation and his greediness and the way he dealt with the entire situation. I would advise anyone trying to book here to stay away cause on top of being a piece of crap from what other reviewers are saying, the gentleman who owns it does not care much of his guests but more about the one million he lost!

Short romantic trip to Venice
On the outside the building looks really old but on the inside it is quite cozy and clean. We loved the “rustic style” in rooms, beautiful bed and nice details.
Also the owner was really friendly, he even let us to leave our luggage there before check-in so we were able to explore Venice in the morning.
Location is also great, you are about 10 min away from piazza San Marco so this is definitely a plus!
The only minus but unfortunately for us a big one was AC. It was really really noisy and we couldn’t close the window while using it so mosquitoes were everywhere. I hope they will solve that.
