Wonderful Room in Wonderful Vernazza
This location is awesome. I expected to have to walk up the hill a block or two, but it is on the main walkway from the harbor to the train station. It's above a pizza place that was not super busy. They checked in on us ahead of time to find out when we would arrive, so appreciated the communication. Plus, they came and met us at the plaza which was wonderful, as I am not sure we would have found it otherwise.
Ours was the back room so was very quiet. This is a two room place, each has a bathroom and door that locks. The back room (ours) is a bit quirky with a pivot door to the long and narrow bathroom. But it's functional. The room is comfortable in size and the bed was very good. There was air conditioning, a small refrigerator and hotpot for coffee/tea. Seemed to be remodeled recently so the decorations, floors, etc, were modern and clean. I really was impressed as I had stayed in a small, more traditional room about 15 years ago and had to climb 4 or 5 sets of stairs and ramps to get there. This was awesome and I would definitely book again if I return to Vernazza.
