Overall positive experience but with some shadows.
The hotel is excellently located a five-minute walk from Porta Romana.
Our experience was good, but a past splendor and a current, partial neglect clearly shine through.
Ants in the rooms, large garage (a great thing, for heaven's sake) with out-of-use cars, shower perpetually clogged despite us mentioning it several times... in short... several things to review.
Excellent, abundant, and rich breakfast buffet.
In summary, we do not regret our choice, and if we were to return to Viterbo, it is not excluded that we would choose the same hotel, but one cannot say that everything is perfect.

Absolute confirmation!
My first review, written 3 months ago, highlighted the fact that in this establishment you feel like family; today, following another recent stay, from June 16th to the 19th, I can do nothing but confirm what I wrote a short time ago: and this is thanks to the contribution of the entire staff: thanks to the lobby staff, from the professionalism of Domenico to the sweetness and friendliness of Raisa and Giovanna; thanks to Aliona and Petronela, the ladies in charge of cleaning the rooms, always precise and punctual in satisfying every customer request; and finally thanks to Lara, the lady in charge of breakfasts, always invaluable in her courtesy.
In my opinion, the Mini Palace Hotel fits into a context where the customer must necessarily understand the quality of the establishment they are in and always be up to the situation, which I hope I was the first to be. Heartfelt thanks to everyone and see you at the next stay.

I stayed in this hotel with a group during a trip to the magnificent Tuscia, and I must say that we all had a very good experience.
Beautiful and spotless rooms, functional bathrooms.
All areas of the facility are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming.
Abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, with high-quality products.
The cakes are exquisite, always fresh.
A thank you to the chef who always prepared us excellent dinners.
The entire staff is kind and attentive, always focused on meeting every guest's needs.
A short distance from the historic center, reachable with a short walk.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in relaxing and stunning places that fill the eyes and heart with wonder!

As in family
I was in this beautiful property for 3 days, from 21 to 24 April 2026, and I must say that it was a wonderful experience in every sense: from the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms, in my opinion extremely beautiful and particularly welcoming, to the excellent location 200 meters from the center that allows you to easily visit the city within the walls, the abundant breakfast provided and the excellent value for money. A big thank you to the professionalism of the reception staff, always priceless in courtesy; to the availability and education of the lady in charge of the bar and breakfasts; and finally to the sympathy of the ladies in charge of cleaning the rooms, always ready to welcome you with a smile and to fulfill any request you may have. I highly recommend it!!! in my opinion, also gives the idea of staying in the family. We will be back again!!!

Hotel is quiet, ideally located about 500 m from the city gate, simple but sufficient breakfast. Staff very friendly.
We had booked for three nights but had to leave a day earlier for personal reasons. the hotel now told us that only two nights will be charged.
Highly recommended, the hotel and the town of Viterbo.
