What a quality and homely place to stay

What an amazing place, great food, fantastic comfortable rooms decorated out with utter class and the bathroom is luxurious. The staff are all so friendly and professional and make you feel so at home. Food is good too if you eat at their restaurant and the breakfast is healthy as you like, fresh produce and plentiful.
Superb location just out of the town of Cortina. The Hotel is sited next to a road but don’t be put off as the windows are quality and eliminate all road noise. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Dolomites.

A trip to the Dolomites

The owners are very kind, as is the staff who are available for every request; we had a great dinner with very well-prepared dishes, the rooms were very clean, I definitely recommend it both as a restaurant and hotel for a pleasant Dolomite vacation.

Rude service, don't go here.

This is a review of the restaurant not the hotel. The experience was terrible. The food made me sick and the waiters were rude.

Typical cuisine

A nice restaurant with a cheerful atmosphere and typical dishes. Good menus from the garden and tradition as well as the orzotto. Attentive service and honest prices.

A jewel in the Dolomites

I am happy to share my wonderful experience at Locanda Al Capriolo and at the restaurant Il Capriolino.
Thanks for the welcome to Beatrice and Maximilian!
Their family project unleashes heart and passion and gives a lot of serenity.
The structure blends history and the future, some rooms belong to the original house with the sweet scent of the past and other more recent have the elegance of a traditional but more modern style, and both used as a restaurant.
The rooms are charming, the wood wraps you like a caress, the details are taken care of, maximum cleanliness, the mattress comfortable and the bathroom a very comfortable salle de bain.
And finally dinner, the menu is territorial, refined in raw materials and tasty. I loved mallard in 2 bakings and desserts are a well-deserved "sin of the throat".
I really appreciated the education and professionalism of all the staff who follow you with kindness and attention, good all (it is not obvious an adequate service).
My escape to the Dolomites was unfortunately short, but I hope to return soon.
In the meantime I really recommend this location, suitable for everyone, even your animal friends.
