100% source-flowing hot spring hotel!

I stayed with my wife overnight in March. There is a shuttle bus from Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station on the Shinkansen, and access is very good. The room has twin beds, you can hear the murmur of the river, and you can feel the Showa era somehow. You can drink the hot springs 100% directly from the source. The springs are neutral (pH 7.1) and are sodium, calcium, metasilicate, and bicarbonate springs. I used it several times during my stay. All the food was delicious. In particular, I was satisfied to have a whole bowl of red snow crabs boiled from Toyama Bay. The staff service was also good. I would also like to use it.

One and only inn at the end of the tunnel

Stayed over new year holiday with my family. So quiet and very cosy. Nothing spectacular but everything (including quality of hot spring and meals served) felt just right. I wish we've stayed one more extra day!

ベッドでの寝心地最高だった。
部屋、湯舟から朝の雪化粧最高。
旅行好きで、毎年全国に出かけますが、小川温泉は良い温泉です。
50年ぶりに行きましたが懐かしかった。歩いて奥の露天風呂はもうないですね、
又、近いうちにいきたいと思います。

「日本秘湯の会」のメンバーではないが秘湯ですね

新幹線「黒部宇奈月温泉駅」から宿の送迎バスで30分余り小川沿いのホテル小川に到着です。「ホテル」というより大きな温泉旅館ですね。新聞風の館内案内に宿泊者の名前が印刷されています。部屋は小川沿いに何とも情緒のあるロケーションです。本当に一軒宿に相応しい。宿から５～６分のところに天然洞窟露天風呂があり「越中４名湯」といわれた名湯だそうです。夕食は地元のものばかりで蛍烏賊、ｊ元ブランド豚の鍋野菜、」白海老釜飯と並びます。なんとも再度訪れたい温泉宿です。
