I found the accommodation is great value if you are solo traveler but don't want to stay in hostel. Free parking is a bonus and close to Lawson and Coop (supermarket) which is convenient. The downside is they don't have a communal kitchen and you have to ask owner for hot water which I found a little bit inconvenience.

Basic stay at Furano for budget travelers

We stayed in this ryokan for 2 nights during summer. We travelled by car so can't comment much about its location (but its nearest station is Furano station); parking spaces available. There is a convenience store opposite the ryokan. The Japanese lady who helped us to check-in was friendly. Room was pretty basic with a small tv and futon beds (please make up yourself). There are shared toilets and one family bathroom (accommodates up to 3, switched for different gender) at ground level. Do take note that there are rules for using the bathroom - bath is only allowed from 5-9pm; no morning bath is allowed. We find it a little bit restrictive, but if you have no issue with this, feel free to book!

Friendly staff; Good value for the price

The owners of this place are incredibly kind and make sure you get a great stay.
The room was basic but clean. For the price, it was perfect. You get Japanese-style bedding and a TV.
The location is out of the main town area but within a 15 minute walk to most of the restaurants. It's also right across the street from a convenience store. I came in the summer so I don't know how the location compares for anyone looking to ski.

Helpful and friendly owners

Had a very enjoyable few days here room was large and comfortable and nice and warm with the heater in thr.Location was good easy walk to town and restauraunts and the owner happilly drove me to and from the ski resort everyday at whatever time i wanted which was very helpful.
