Feel relaxed in a freshly poured hot spring

Stay in an 8-tatami mat Japanese-style room with a wide veranda. The room overlooks the JR Takayama Line. Facilities included separate air conditioning and a kettle to heat the water, and the toilet, sink and bathroom were separate and comfortable. There is no open-air bath, but I was immersed in the hot water with natural stones everywhere in the public bath. It is a straight-flowing hot spring with no heating, watering, or circulation, and is very slimy. The skin is slimy, smooth and great. Meals are set menus for both dinner and breakfast. It was really healthy and delicious, because you could eat a certain amount and there were a lot of local dishes.

Close to Gero station. The hotel is old, the room Is nice and clean. The meals were decent and the service was good. The Onsen opens 24 hour.

An impossible hot spring facility

I've been to Gero Onsen many times... It's slippery and feels great, but I'm surprised and it's impossible that bath towels are only one per person and you have to pay for the second one. I enjoy the hot springs and use them many times, but it takes a long time for the bath towel to dry, so I go to various hot spring inns all over the country, and I don't have to take bath towels from my room, they are always available and I can use them as much as I want. I think there is a limit, but normally if you are asked to use the first two in turn, you will be happy to receive them, but you have to pay for the second one? Is it that difficult to maintain even a long-established inn? Paid bath towels are disappointing and it is impossible for a hot spring facility in Gero Onsen, so I won't be going again. Even if you don't expect good food, the hot springs are Gero Onsen. If the hot springs ♨ are the selling point, if it can be felt by customers, it will be even more popular than it is now? I regret that I should have booked somewhere else if I had known.

Good location and very near to station.
But the building is pretty old and the rooms are not that clean. The meals are decent but not that great.
The onsen pool is also quite old but open 24 hr.
