This is a small hotel with friendly environment. However, it is a remote area and no shops and much restaurants nearby. There is one the hotel recommended but quite expensive. Take your meal before going to hotel

It's a great inn of just the right size.

I used it for sightseeing in Hachimantai and Api Highlands.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bath is called "Molden's Bath" and it is wonderful. The exquisite squishy feeling was so comfortable that my family said, "I want to go again! So much so that he was complaining about it.
For dinner, I ordered yakiniku comparing the tastes of Maesawa beef. The Maesawa beef was of course delicious, and the rest of the dishes were pretty good.
The next morning's breakfast was just the right amount and the curry and rice was excellent.
I also liked the attentive and at-home response of the staff. I was very happy to receive a lot of care not only from the Japanese staff but also from the foreign staff. It's a great inn of just the right size. I would love to revisit it!

The family style room is spacious and comfortable.  Has 2 very nice private open-air onsen which you could use. The breakfast and kaiseki dinner were delicious, enjoyable and complete, with many small side dishes and courses. Great location for skiers and golfers. The staff was helpful and very pleasant.

Great location for snowboarding. We enjoyed our meal there as well. Would be nice to have a laundry room. The private onsen is a bonus.

An older onsen property. But it does have two onsen pools that you can “charter” for your private use. There isn’t anything around the property, so you have to book your breaky and dinner with the hotel. The food was good though.
