Comfortable, big room and good breakfast.

My family are satisfied with this hotel. It offers nice and warm welcome. The room is quite big for two people and it is very clean and quiet. The breakfast is also very delicious especially the bread. It is very good for car-drive traveler because the parking space is enough and it is not far from train station. Another advantage is : close to a big supermarket. The only short-coming is that they don't have elevator. But I am lucky to have staff help me carry the luggage.

Handy to the old town

Having no Japanese worth talking about, we booked this hotel through Rakuten travel and crossed our fingers. It sort of worked, the hotel is across the river from Higashihagi railway station so was handy for our rail journey further north. Also the town tourist bus stops at the station and there is a small but helpful tourist office. The hotel itself is clean enough. When we were there however it was quite humid, only 21-22C, so the bedding felt a bit damp which made our stay a little uncomfortable. The owner was friendly enough, the breakfast however was, although Japanese, nothing like we had anywhere else, it was not too expensive and edible.
The town and the locals were most welcoming and well worth the visit it is a bit off the tourist trail so little English is spoken. If you can smile you'll get by.

響き渡る機械音

お部屋やお風呂がキレイ快適です！
ですが、外から聞こえる機械の動作音らしき、ぶんぶんという重低音が、部屋にまで延々と響いてきます。窓も二重なのに。耳栓をしてもテレビをつけても、響き渡る。これがなければ星4なのです。
機械音が響くと寝られない人は進めません。
平気な人にはおすすめです。

コスパ良し

東萩エリアのホテルです。
小さな建物で部屋数は少ないです。
シングル利用でしたが、ダブルの部屋を手配されました。
安いビジネスホテルよりも部屋は広めで、バスタブも普通のサイズでした。
期間限定の話ですが、Go toトラベルとは別に、萩市内で使えるクーポン2000円分が付いていました。
元々の値段も安いのでコスパはいいです。
部屋もきれいでした。

萩市で宿泊

萩市観光のため素泊まりで利用しました。東萩駅から川を渡り近くの場所です。ツインのお部屋を一人で利用でき広くて良かったです。窓から近くに流れる大きな川が見えて素敵でした○
