It was my first visit in years and I felt that the level had dropped considerably.
Last time I was here, you were right.
The hotel is competing for 1.2 in Hakodate.
I was impressed.
This time, there are a lot of disappointing points
There was.
Air purifiers in rooms are not well-suited to spreading noise
The watch is of the type that makes the sound of hands
You don't notice the floor in front of the check-in lobby is wet
(By the way, it's a cloudy day, so it's not raining.)
I'm sick of it.
Breakfast buffet staff attitude
I wear indoor slippers to the bath
There are no number plates like the one at Hakodate Kokusai Hotel, so someone put them on and went.
There's a place for the breakfast buffet.
Hard to understand. If you wait that long, you'd better call a number like Hanamaru Nemuro.
The elevators aren't that fast.
I'll wait a long time.
They're highly rated. They're popular.
I know it's crowded sometimes.
I was pretty disappointed.

Perfect location in charming Hakodate!
It is about 10 minutes' walk from Hakodate Station.
I stayed in a small Japanese style room with sliding door into the bedroom and great views towards Mount Hakodate. There was no safe, but you can lock things in the drawer by the bed.
The bed was large and comfortable and the pillow was very good.
Breakfast was very good with incredibly much to choose from.
I can highly recommend this hotel.

Outstanding breakfast and rooftop onsen exceed expectations - worth the premium price
LOCATION - Close to Bay Area location, 15-minute walk from Hakodate Station (we took taxi due to heavy snow). Adjacent to Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse with shops, Komeda Coffee, and Lucky Pierrot nearby. Airport bus stops nearby - note morning buses terminate at station only.
ACCOMMODATION - Mt. Hakodate view twin room on high floor. Spacious layout, and counter seating by window perfect for enjoying mountain views. Room includes coffee mill with beans from famous Misuzu Coffee - grinding fresh coffee in-room was fun experience.
BREAKFAST - Simply outstanding and lives up to reputation. Build-your-own seafood rice bowl standout feature. Extensive grilled seafood (squid, scallops, shishamo, shrimp), Japanese and Western options, bread, curry, soups, and desserts. Menu changes slightly between days preventing repetition. Suggest to avoid peak time from 7~9am as the wait time can be long.
ROOFTOP ONSEN - Extensive top-floor facility with multiple bath types, sauna, and outdoor bath. It open throughout night, the late night/early morning was nearly private use - highly recommended timing. Ice pops available at bath exit.
COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES - Coffee machines in lobby and breakfast area for room take-away. Night ramen service (didn't try). Ice pops at bath exit. In-room Misuzu Coffee grinding set unique touch.
CONSIDERATIONS - Air conditioning overly effective - room heated quickly. Humidifier insufficient for room size - felt quite dry. TV standard broadcast only, not smart TV so no Youtube or Netflix (fireTV worked fine if you are keen to watch them).
VALUE - 45,000 yen per night (2 people, breakfast included) premium pricing but justified by breakfast quality, rooftop onsen, Mt. Hakodate views, and complimentary services. Exceptional experience worth the cost.
RECOMMENDATION - Perfect for families, couples celebrating special occasions, breakfast enthusiasts, onsen lovers, and anyone seeking premium Hakodate experience. Would absolutely return for future Hakodate visits. Exceeded expectations despite already high hopes based on breakfast reputation.
