Flower shower in blue sky, azure sea overlooking Mt.

In early spring, in March, I attended a wedding of an acquaintance. The air is still a little chilly, but refreshing, with a hint of spring. The venue is SCAPES THE SUITE in Hayama, which overlooks the beautiful coastline.
In our day, weddings were usually held in a strict format, where the boss or relative of the company would come together to greet the guests of honor and continue the formality. It was just the bride and groom playing the main role, but it was very much a ceremony between the houses. However, weddings seem to be changing a lot these days. This time, the reception was very casual in style, centered on friendly colleagues of my age, such as work colleagues and friends from my school days. There is no sign of the boss or matchmaker of the company, and there is no formality in any way. It felt like someone from the Showa generation had slipped into the reunion, but it was a very heartfelt gathering with a constant flow of friendly smiles throughout.
The chapel of the ceremony hall is truly a one-of-a-kind view. With views of the endless azure sea and majestic Mt. Fuji, soft natural light and blue sky gently envelops the bride and groom through the skylight. The glow of yacht sails on the sea and the horizon beyond your line of sight. The vows exchanged against the sea of Hayama were very dramatic. The dignified atmosphere that Mt. Fuji created made their departure even more sacred.
After leaving the chapel, on the rooftop terrace, flower showers danced to the blue sky. The slightly chilly wind seemed to be drowned out by the warmth of the blessings. At the pre-reception welcome party, everyone was engrossed in taking a photo in the best view. I, too, fell in love with the view, and there was a happening that made me step into the basin at the corner of the terrace twice. According to the staff of the ceremony hall, it is said that when you get absorbed in the superb view. I couldn't help but smile, but it was such a captivating sight.
The reception was a casual affair that conveyed their personality throughout. It is just the right distance from the bride and groom's seats with a good view of the guests' faces. The dishes brought in from the open kitchen, made with plenty of local seafood and Miura vegetables, are exceptional in taste, appearance and aroma. I fully enjoyed the blessings of Hayama. A day full of soft early spring sunshine, azure sea and warm blessings. It was a wonderful holiday to remember. I wish you a long and happy life!!!

Luxurious Hayama hotel

We stayed two nights in two rooms during the week. Difficult to get weekend reservations as they hold those days for wedding parties. We had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant, which was excellent. No complaints about the in room breakfast that was provided each morning. Beautiful view straight out Mount Fuji. We lucked out and were able to watch the Zushi Beach fireworks display during our visit. The rooms were quiet. Super clean and comfortable. They have new bicycles that are free to use. Excellent and prompt communication via email prior to the visit and during the visit as well. We would stay here again.

A casual restaurant where sunset is the goal

I think younger people will have a higher Rating. If you're over 40, it's normal.
I personally love the Morito Coast and the atmosphere is good and it is a local food.
It's not a problem at all for the restaurant, but at this time of year the sunset is around 17:20, so you can't see the sunset while eating at 17:30 when it opens *It's possible at different times,
The location is also good, so if it's for sunset purposes, it's good - though I can't see it after autumn.
The impression is that this is a casual and friendly restaurant for young people.
Also, the parking lot is scary because I drove a big car, but it was too close. If you don't drive well, you won't get in!

I used it at a wedding.

We used this for my sister and brother's wedding.
It was an evening ceremony, so the sunset and the sea were a beautiful combination.
The service was neither good nor bad, and it was a comfortable ceremony.
It was a ceremony for about 60 people, but I think the chapel and the venue were a little small.
The MC's talk was terrible.
The food was delicious.
I was satisfied, but the men may not have been satisfied.
The bride and groom stayed there that day.
It seems like the room was very clean and gorgeous.

Just what we were looking for!

The hotel is located in this cute little town. The property was beautiful and the staff was so great. We rented bikes and explored Hayama - it's a very fun little town. Very European in feel. The rooms are huge, which is a rarity in Japan! The food was amazing - we ate in the hotel restaurant one evening - one of the best meals I've ever had. I would definitely go back!
