Perfect stay
A great hotel in a perfect location right next to the train station. The room is sufficient, the toiletries are good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. If I return to Horoshima, I'll gladly stay at this hotel again.

Okay the thing that destroys the experience with this property is the challenge to find it. For starters for those like me who want to stay close to the train station are looking for easy transfers. Well, to start with there are two Granvia hotels at this station so don’t rely upon the signs alone and double check that you know where you are staying. Secondly and most importantly the entrance to this place is a bear to find. There is one doorway to the elevator bank going to the reception area on the first floor hidden along a huge bus stop. I attached a couple of photos. There is another one on the second floor amongst a train station and a 6 floor shopping center. As mentioned before these are not entrances to a lobby, rather access to an elevator that you take to the lobby on the 7th floor. I didn’t give the service a perfect rating because once you get to the 7th floor there is a perfectly friendly person who meets you and verifies your reservation. From there you are led to kiosk to check in on your own. Just a weird personal to impersonal service surprise. The bottom line is once you get through the speakeasy style entrance and interesting check in the stay is fine. So returning guests that know the routine are find but the first-timers need to understand what they are in for.

Great stay located directly above the rebuilt Hiroshima station. Room was a good size and had a nice city view in the upper floor

Beautiful hotel with separate bath and toilet directly connected to the station
Very convenient with direct connection to Hiroshima Station!
Ice, water dispensers, irons, etc. are placed on each floor, which is very useful for people with water bottles.
The refrigerator in the room is refrigerated only. It would be better to have it frozen. I want to freeze the cold medicine.
The room is very nice with separate bath and toilet! The tub is also wide, so you can walk around with your legs stretched out and get tired.
However, there is only a smoking room at the front desk on the seventh floor for smokers. It's nice in these times, but it's pretty disappointing that the smoking area and toilets on the 7th floor are not well cleaned.
The staff are kind and I think many of them are younger than the older Granvia. I'm fluent in English and there's no inconvenience at all.
That's why it's my regular inn.
