Room: I booked for the mixed dormitory but was upgraded to a private room :))) comfy bed, very comfy pillow. hangers for clothes. Bathroom: nice strong shower, decent hair dryer, clean toilets, two sinks . Security: there wasn't a lock on my room but I feel comfortable that the hosts have enough oversight and that the place is secure enough. think it gets locked 10pm. Amenities: fully furnished kitchen. there is also a nice lounge area, and a cafe upstairs (although it was shut when I visited so I can't comment on what it has). Location: like a 10-15 minute cycle from omishima bike rental. restaurants and shops cyclable too, might be a faff if you're walking.. Other: very friendly welcome from the hosts.

Lovely guesthouse with private rooms available. The hosts were very kind and were able to answer some questions I had. The guesthouse is located around the halfway point of the Shimanami Kaido so it makes for a good place to stop and rest halfway between the journey. Bed was comfortable and the shower and toilets were nice. The nearby location has some restaurants and a couple small shops within a fifteen minute walk. Lovely scenic views nearby. Highly recommend!

Fabulous hostel! Everything was squeaky clean and they even had a kitchen/living room to prepare food and chill out. They have a room lights-off policy at 10pm but I was already fast asleep after a long day of cycling around the islands. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, they even have a QR code that shows all their recommended spots on your phone maps! I would recommend this place to everyone biking around the islands, especially if you want to go to rabbit island as the ferry is only 10 minutes (by bike) away. There is a supermarket just down the road (about a 5 minute walk) - which is very handy if you’d like to buy some carrots etc for the rabbits! Thank you so much!
