We check-in near 12 at night, but the staff still serve us kindly and it is relax to enjoy my breakfast with a beautiful Ise city view.

Blue collar business hotel

Located right off the Ise Interchange, what used to be called Business Hotel Hane Ise Inter is now, due to a branded consolidation, called Hotel Area One Ise Inter.
The target audience is migrating blue-collar workers. The linemen, the road workers, and the migrating construction workers who need a convenient place to crash for the night. Therefore, the parking lot is filled with work trucks and there is a public bath for men ONLY.
The doors are the old-fashioned key type. There is very little soundproofing, so if you plan to make noise in your room, expect everyone to hear clearly. The rooms are clean, the washrooms are the cramped modular type. Nothing special with the amenities.
There are no convenience stores within walking distance so the lobby has many of the things you would buy at a convenience store except with an inflated cost.
The breakfast is very Japanese. They highlight foodstuffs that are grown in Mie or food that comes in a can. Pick and choose. You should find enough that are filling enough. I can't complain.
If you were to make a Venn Diagram, this place would be somewhere in the center where the circles meet. Price vs convenience vs quality. Nothing is exceedingly done well, nothing is fantastic but nothing to complain about either.

Good value for money hotel

This hotel is near Ise Interchange. It has changed its name to Hotel Area One Ise Interchange. I stayed here on a business trip. There were no rooms available, so I stayed in a Japanese-style room. I wish they would clean the room a little more carefully. I suppose that can't be helped, since it's a reasonable hotel. The breakfast was also delicious for a reasonable price. This hotel offers good value for money.

Dumpy place

To visit the famous Ise Jingu shrine, I booked this place without knowing it is a long train ride to Ise station and no restaurants and store around. The check in staff wasn’t friendly. No suggestions for any places to eat. The room is not too small but it smelled cigarette smoke even though it was nonsmoking room. The room looked shabby though the linen and towels were clean and new. There are TV, mini fridge, hair dryer. AC worked fine. There is a big public bath room but only for men. In the morning, they serve a free buffet Japanese and western style breakfast service but don’t expect too much. It’s like you get what you pay for. The checkout staff, a lady, was nice and courteous. The check in male staff should learn from her. Also there is no signage in the outside when you come from the JR Isuzugaoka station.

Spooky motel in north Korea

Our first time in Ise. City was full, no acomodations available downtown. I ended up booking Hotel Hane on “Booking”. At a very beat rate of one forty US per night. When we arrived in Ise central station by train, we realized we needed to take another bus-or train to go the 5 miles hane is from dowtown. Arriving at the hotel huge signs advertise the room for fifty US a night. I felt bad...hotel is like I always imagined a hotel would be in north Korea. 5 story building. From the fifties. Pink paperwalls. Yellowish plastic bathrooms. Old, old carpet used to the floor. Our room on the second floor has one window that opens in the basement of another building. Zero sunlight. Never. Spooky hotel. Nownthere are some positives, beds are comfortable, water is hot and flows strong. Japanese breakfast is good. All said the most expensive one star motel I ever booked.
