Excellent
Very welcome, the hotel is very comfortable and clean.
Rooms facing the ocean offer magnificent views
Very attentive staff.
But above all we had exceptional dinners!! A multitude of traditional dishes prepared with very fresh products (seafood and fish ), reaffirmed flavors allowed us to discover authentic and gourmet Japanese cuisine.
The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly

Fantastic food, view and onsen
We stayed for two nights at this family-run ryokan. From the moment we arrived until check-out we felt special in the way they treated us. Everybody was extremely friendly and courteous. The japanese-style room with a private onsen with view of the sea was spacious and spotless. Next to the onsen, the dinners and breakfast were our highlight of the stay. We were presented with an incredible amount of local food, mainly based around seafood (including Ise Ebi) and Matsusaka beef. Every dish was more delicious than the next.
I can only recommend the ryokan and will definitely go back if I’m in the area again!

A remarkable staying with ocean view and local sea delicacies
Oishiya is a lovely family-run ryokan. It has been a wonderful experience, from the staying in the Japanese style-room with all the comfort and amenities such as the private onsen with ocean view, to the luxurious dinner with Ise lobster and other local delicacies from the sea but also the famous Matsusaka beef. I found exceptional the position, really close to the Meoto Iwa site, which is perfect to look at sunrise or sunset (I especially recommend the sunrise). The kindness of the staff was really remarkable, they did everything possible and beyond to make us feel like home despite our poor Japanese; a special thank to the older daughter of the owner to took great care of us. The first day, it rained a lot and they even offered us the possibility to take us at the station. They waited for us with umbrellas and a very warm welcome.

Wonderful service & food. Multi course traditional dinner & breakfast. Our waitress/maid for our stay, Ota-San was fantastic. Access to private onsens as a couple was nice. They also provided yukayas for us to wear on property. Amazing ryokan experience!

Stunning ryokan with service that exceeds expectations!
The people who work at this ryokan are amazing. Every person we encountered was genuinely friendly, polite, and committed to making us feel at home. Ota san was exceptionally sweet and attentive . She greeted us when we checked in, cleaned our room, and served our meals. Her smile was the best part of each day. We appreciated her kindness in using her English skills to help us have a comfortable stay. Oishiya is a beautiful, traditional ryokan that offers public & private baths (no reservations needed) and is steps away from the sea. Imagine waking up and being able to gaze at the sea from your bed! Kaiseki meals (breakfast & dinner) were incredible - delicious and beautiful. Though we stayed for 3 nights, the meals never felt repetitive as they switch dining rooms and courses each night. We appreciated the drivers who will regularly pick you up and drop you off at the bus or train station. Their timely and courteous service allowed us to enjoy Oishiya's peaceful location while still having access to other sights in the Mie prefecture. It was a perfect stay! Highly recommend staying here.
