I was comfortable.

My wife and I stayed overnight. The original room was incomplete and I was shown to the new room. It was a large room with twin beds and very comfortable.
We didn't use it, but there are public baths. Although it was not recommended as the women's baths were not very large.
The parking lot was big enough.

Great staff, nice rooms

I had favorable winds on today’s cycling trip from Sata Misaki to the Okura in Kanoya, so I wheeled in more than an hour ahead of check- in time. They were very friendly and kind, giving me Room 301 well ahead of the stated check- in time. The staff were great throughout the visit.
The room has a double bed with a very nice damask duvet, a good- sized work desk and a coffee table with two chairs that strangely look like they came from an Addams Family production set. No real view from this room; rooms on 4F and higher would have a nice view of the surrounding city and hills.
The bedding was comfortable and the room was very quiet, so I slept well.
Breakfast was good, the breakfast room was open and spacious. As is common in Japanses hotels like this, there was a staff lady keeping the breakfast place spotlessly clean at all times.
The Onsen was fantastic - small, but nice.
The lobby has a number of great models of aeroplanes and ships, owing no doubt to the proximity of the large Defense Force base nearby.
I would certainly look here first when booking another visit to Kanoya.

Excellent stay

this is my second time in this hotel. for me this is the best hotel on Kanoya city. The nearest airport to kanoya is kagoshima airport which is aboit 2 hours away via airport bus. The hotel is near some restaurants and convenient stores. They also have their spa at the 8th level. the rooms are not too big but well kept. The hotel in general is clean. The staff were very kind and helpful when I tried to use the lobby PC in japanese language. breakfast also is excellent. they have wide variety of food choices and a spacious dining area. thumbs up.

Regional hotel with limited western amenities

In Kanoya, this is probably the best bet of hotel to stay at.
The breakfast is ok. Taxis are easy to find and its within easy reach of wherever one needs to go.
There are restaurants nearby within walking distance which are good.
The bathrooms are small. The rooms are small. A closet is nonexistent.
It is not a luxury hotel, but does the job in Kanoya

Great hotel in Kanoya

I stayed here for two nights. I was there for a business trip and the nearest airport is actually two hours away - Kagoshima Airport. I traveled via the airport bus to Kanoya city. the nearest bus stop to this hotel is the Kanoya city hall but it was still quite a distant from the station. So if you are bring a lot of luggage, I suggest you look for a taxi to bring you to the hotel. The hotel itself was excellent. the rooms are not too spacious but well organized. It was next to a high school. Convenient stores, laundry shops and restaurants are within reach. The hotel also has their own spa. This is definitely a recommended hotel. thumbs up.
