Excellent place to stay for a relaxing time

Lovely traditional ryokan in Dorogawa Onsen Main Street run by a delightful young woman. Reasonably priced we had 2 large rooms for 3 people. Our bedding was laid out and when we asked we were given extra under futons for comfort. The food was great. We had to use the bath in the inn across the road which was also owned by the same people. The first night we had trouble sleeping as the grandfather clock chimed hourly but the owner kindly moved it for us. There was free coffee and we could park our car nearby all included in the price. The warmth of the owner really shone through in this place where we were welcomed not just seen as paying customers.

Traditional Japanese Ryokan experience

Have a wonderful time here. Nice tatami room, quiet place, clean toilet, share onsen and delicious japanese breakfast. A awesome place to experience Japanese stay. Owner speak a little English and very friendly and helpful. Highly reccommeded.
美好的民宿，好山，好水，好住，好汤，好主人，好早餐，附近安静，还有一美丽的自然步道。值得。

仕事で直前まで休みが決まらない
ギリギリの所で電話する
運良くおかみさんが出られ予約できた
休みに入り洞川に来るまでにたくさんの奈良を回れた　法隆寺&飛鳥寺&大神神社&石上神宮&玉置神社&吉野神宮等々　奇跡的だ！
後は八大龍王&山登り　八大龍王は何時でも参拝出来るが、山はなかなか登れない
腹を括って登ってきた　ちょいちょい登山者に会う　そんなに不安にならずに登れた
山小屋は全くやってない　ペットボトル持っていって正解だった　よう参り～　何度か聞いた　無事に下山できると自信がつく　食事も更に美味しく感じた　旅館のお風呂が速く入れて助かった　感謝します　広くて温かいお風呂　快適だった　いゃぁ～満足満足　旅館の大将ありがとうございました　お肉も美味しく快適な一時でした　また行きたくなるそんな場所です　天川大弁財天も良いですよ

この温泉街全体の雰囲気が永久保存モノです（特に夜！）

違う時代にタイムスリップしたような温泉街。銀山温泉（山形）ともまた違った風情があります。どの宿も一階部分が、通りに面して縁側のようなオープンなカフェのようなつくりになっていて、これが独特なノスタルジックな雰囲気に一役買っているような気がします。
天川村とえいば、内田康夫の小説浅見光彦シリーズの天河殺人事件の舞台でお馴染みですが、その天川村の中心地からまた更に走らせたところにある山間の温泉街。昼間でも洞川温泉街に入れば独特の雰囲気がありますが、夜になると、浮世離れした感じは更に増して幻想的です。
食事は地鶏の鍋コース。予想に反して結構なボリュームです。最後は十分に出た地鶏の出汁で〆の雑炊。食べ終わる頃には、かなりの満腹感。浴室も町や建物の雰囲気同様、たいへんレトロなタイル張り。小さい内湯が一カ所だけですが、浴槽が小さい分、お湯の鮮度も保たれているような気がしました。一生の内に、一度は訪ねたい温泉街。

洞川温泉内で最高だと感じる。

今まで、洞川温泉で数件の宿泊したが、ここが最高に良かった。
電話での問い合わせ時からも、とても明るい受け応えで気持ちよく、出発まで何不自由なく過ごせました。
コロナ対策も万全だった。
お部屋は、きちんとお掃除されていて、気持ちよく快適である。
食事はとても美味しい。器や盛り付けも楽しめる。食事のベース、ご飯の炊き具合も良い。
御膳でのスタイルもレトロを味わさせてくれる。
温泉風呂はお湯は肌に潤いを与えてくれた。温度はぬる目がお好みであれば、少し熱く感じるかもしれない。脱衣所も清潔であった。
従業員の方々は、とてもフレンドリーかつ、馴れ馴れしくなく、ちょうど良い距離感を保っていてくれた。
これから暑くなる夏、避暑地としてあと数回は利用したい。
