Friendly service, small town, good for one night on the way through
The family who run the accommodation were lovely - not much English, but we did not expect that in a non-touristy, semi-rural town. The Japanese style room was small but comfortable and beautifully decorated and they had a set of pyjamas in the room for each of us. The shared bathroom was clean and well equipped with the basic toiletries.
The accommodation does have a restaurant but we think it had to be pre-booked, so we ate dinner at one of the seemingly few restaurants in town.

函館に泊まるより断然いい
トイレは共用、風呂はシャワーになる（徒歩2-3分歩いたところに天然温泉あり、300円）のですが、それを入れても、部屋はスタイリッシュになっていて、居心地がいいです。
木古内漁港の前にあるので、朝夕の風景はなかなかいいです。
また、徒歩圏内にコンビニ（ローソン、セブンイレブン）があり、使い勝手はいいです。
事前に申し込めば、木古内駅からの送迎可能です。
また、機会があれば、宿泊したいと思います。

海を見渡す宿で美味しい夕食を味わう
特筆すべきは夕食でしょうか。蝦夷アワビなどの海の幸や北海道の味覚を十分に味わうことができました。またお酒も充実しているようで好みを伝えればそれに合わせて探してきてくれます。朝食はワンプレートに鮭などが載せられたものでしたがコロッケが美味しかったです。木古内を訪れることがあればまた泊まってみたい宿です。
