The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the location was also very convenient, with easy access to many stores as well as public transportation. I would definitely stay there again.

Prices for regulars and regulars, too different accommodations

Regular. and dealing too openly with the general public, and room rates.
Time saving for other customers, including me? Trouble. The guidance is rough. To the regulars, they were said to be the manager, but they came out and dealt with it!!
And as I've heard, the room rate is also cheaper for regulars!!! The price for us general customers is high!
It was an inn that was full of people wondering why they should be treated like this.

He was a patronizing hotel staffer.

I didn't feel so good that I actually thought I could give my name.
When I checked in and headed to my room, I greeted and talked only to male guests, male staff in their 50s, female staff in their 60s, and a small male staff in their 50s, without even bowing to me or any other guests.
They say they're patronizing customers.
I used it for work, but I told him not to use it again.
I also reported it to the company and stopped using it.
It sucked. I was offended.

No Wi-Fi connection

Overnight on November 13, 2025.
Struggle with Wi-Fi connection to check in at exactly 15:00 and join company teleconference from 15:30.
I ended up having to participate via mobile communication because I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi.
After the TV conference, I contacted the front desk to ask for a Wi-Fi connection.
It seems that there was a problem with the hotel's setting.
I was going to check in early and calm down to join the meeting, which is very disappointing.
Unfortunately, it is not suitable for business.
The second time is without.

A nice experience

Located downtown very close to the castle. Parking is available in nearby parking buildings with charges paid to the hotel via a voucher system.
Lobby is on the 3rd floor with lift access. Room clean, compact and well maintained. Room includes a tatami area and a futon bed. Fridge, kettle and wifi are included in the room. Compact bathroom comprises a bath-shower, basin and Japanese toilet. An array of in-room accessories are available in the lobby. Staff professional and helpful.
Front office staff speak some English, with translation apps available when needed. Breakfast is a mix of Western and traditional Japanese in a 2nd floor dining room. The hotel has a traditional communal hot spa bath on the 6th floor. Yukata and slippers for moving to and from the bath are available in the lobby.
Wasuka is a good option for the those looking for a Japanese experience but with some Western components.
