As a guest house, it is top class in comfort.

Located between Omihachiman/Hikone and Sekigahara, it is very convenient for access and standing sightseeing. Also, as a Samegai-juku facing the old Nakasen-do Road, there is a spring Jizou River along the road, giving it an atmosphere.
I would like to rate it as a top-class guest house. Cheap, clean and kind.

Excellent stay

We stayed two nights at the Guesthouse. Traditional house with spacious bedroom. Common toilets, clean, with the necessary at disposal (soap, shampoo, hairdryer...)
Our host was very kind and although he does not speak English we were able to communicate without problem.
We dined both evenings on site, the meals were delicious, based mainly on fish that the manager fishes himself.
Our stay was perfect, we recommend this Guesthouse in a quiet and pleasant village.

店主さんがとても優しくよい場所でした。
夕朝食は鮎や虹鱒など琵琶湖で獲れたお魚をたくさん食べることができて満足です。地元の美味しい日本酒もいただきました。
布団は柔らかくぐっすり寝ることができました。
水回りは共同ですが、清潔感があります。
アクセスは駅から10分以内に歩けるので問題ないですが、周辺にコンビニなどはないので、事前に買っておくことをおすすめすます。

宿の雰囲気もよくご飯もとても美味しかったです。
静かにゆっくり過ごすことができました。
また行きたいと思います。
