Delicious teppanyaki of Takachiho beef

Hotel Takachiho was a very convenient base for sightseeing in Takachiho and a cozy inn where you could spend a relaxing time. The hotel and guest rooms were clean and the staff were attentive to the guests and they were able to stay with peace of mind.
Shochu tasting available.
For dinner, the teppanyaki of Takachiho beef was particularly impressive, and it was fun to compare several types of grilled beef, including loin and ribs, and every part was tender and umami-savory. There were buffet-style rice and salads, and the contents were satisfying both in volume and taste.

If you want to see night kagura, this hotel is close by. I recommend the fireplace dish.

I chose an inn close to Takachiho Shrine to see Takachiho night kagura and used it.
I made a reservation from Jalan and got a 5000 yen discount.
I received a phone call advising me that if I was going to see kagura at night, I would have to eat from 17:30 for irori cooking.
On the day, it was a little inconvenient because only one public bath could be used, so there was a gender swap in the time zone.
The view from the room was only in the mountains.
The dinner in the hearth was very delicious as I grilled the grilled meat myself.
The night kagura was very enjoyable within a few minutes walk from the hotel, with zabuton available for rent.
The next morning it was a buffet and we enjoyed Miyazaki mango juice and other things.

Hotel in good location if you plan to go the famous Takachiho Gorge, they have plubic onsen in the hotel view from room also very nice.

The hotel offers comfortable facilities and service with good access to Takachiho Shrine.

I stayed in a room with both a Japanese-style room and a bedroom with a bed. It was comfortable, the inside bath and the public bath were clean and comfortable. The dinner in the digger-style detached room, Miyazaki beef, and charcoal-grilled chicken, was wonderful. It was a good place to walk to Takachiho Shrine and convenient for sightseeing kagura.
