A little confusing in that the hotel is named 'Kita Hotel' on Expedia but at the hotel it is named the 'Hotel Du Nord' - Google Maps though has both names.
The public areas look a little dated but the room l had was very comfortable (best sleep l've had in a long time) and spotlessly clean.
Hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from Morioka station so long as you are travelling with minimal luggage.

newly renovated rooms, but washing machine always broken, too sad. Just only one washing machine.

Excellent hotel that is clean and well managed. The staff were lovely. The rooms are standard for a Japanese hotel, the only thing pointing out is that the walls seem to be very thin, meaning you will hear things from other rooms and the corridor. Overall a great stay.
