Amazing experience
I normally don't pick select service hotels, but this was a surprisingly delightful experience. Traveling with kids, we had a suite connecting to a regular room. It's a relatively new Courtyard so furnishings appeared to be well maintained. Kids got ice cream complimentary on behalf of the hotel every day. We had a little hiccup with our room bill but this was quickly rectified. The only downside (and perhaps this was because it was during the summer holidays) is that breakfast can crowded and can easily spill out into the lounge/lobby area. Would highly recommend!

Far from public transportations
Don't believe the reviews when they say that the hotel is walking distance to the Nagoya Station. Well, you can walk but it's a long walk especially when it's raining and you have luggage. Taxi would cost you around ¥1,200 from the station to the hotel. Bus stops are also quite a walk from the hotel.
Fairly large room with complete amenities but their pillows are supper soft that it's hardly usefully. They provided extra pillows though. Windows cannot be opened to air the room - a problem when you eat inside the room.
The best feature of this hotel is a huge Don Quixote right across the street and it has a big supermarket and a food court. We enjoyed our shopping there.

Service a bit terrible
We arrived at the hotel and they had given us 2 rooms for 2 people and there were 5 of us. We mentioned it to them and at 8:00 PM they did not have room service to be able to make us a bed. They changed our room and the 3rd bed was a small and very hard daybed. They indicated that we have to pay. When we already had it paid for.
At breakfast they also did not have the updated information and they wanted to charge us for the breakfast of 3.
The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent.

Modern, Quieter Nagoya Stay
The Courtyard was away from the hustle and bustle by Nagoya Station and right across the street from Don Quiote. The nearest subway station was less than 10 minute walk or approx 20 minutes to Nagoya station.
This was a modern Courtyard throughout. I used a SNA (suite night award) upgrade and it was accepted prior to arrival and resulted in a larger corner room.
Checkin went quickly and Bonvoy status recognized. Staff were very welcoming. A breakfast discount was provided and accepted which resulted in just paying Y1000 for two which was a great value.
The room itself was large, modern and very similar in design to the Marriott Nagasaki. A separate toilet with electronic controls, large shower/tub and lots of counter space were featured in the bathroom area. A nespresso machine, refrigerator, air purifier and hot pot were also included. Great water pressure in the shower and comfy bedding made for a restful night.
Breakfast was a bit crazy even as we arrived right at opening along with one or two tour groups trying to eat and run. Multiple stations with hot and cold foods were available and even featured Nagoya specialties like Kishimen with chicken and a meat filled omelette (forgot to note the actual name). Restaurant staff were on their toes and constantly circulating to clear used dishes and clear table for the next customers.
The gym was large and featured modern cardio and weight equipment. It was quiet during my workout and everything was in working order.
Recommended for a quieter experience in Nagoya and if you avoid the morning breakfast rush then even better.

Very comfortable
Stayed here a night while on a tour with a group . Very comfortable, staff are extremely nice and the front desk Manager went out of his way to help us , Mr Andrew ( from Hongkong)
