Beautiful ryokan, traditionnal style, well maintained and with modern amenities. My room had a direct large window on a beautiful garden. My favourite stay in Japan!

It’s very close to the Nara Deer Park, so if you’d like to stay close to there this would be the place you’d want to reserve.

It was a traditional Japanese experience. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I slept great and the traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing. It was good to learn more about how things are traditionally done in Japan. The simple act of taking a shower is different. This place allows you to experience that.

I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again.
