Everything was excellent about our stay with one exception being the size of the room when you have large suitcases but apparently room sizes are small in most hotels in Osaka. More than 3 hangers would be useful

Let’s make it simple cuz this place is PERFECT for the following:
1: Super Easy Dontonburi access (you are right there)
2: Close to Osaka Metro Line.. we took the Shinkansen from Tokyo
3: As if food was easy with Dontonburi there is this original Thai place near by
4: Not only friendly, but spoke English or in some cases Mandarian/Cantonese. They have a sign at the front that says how many on staff can speak your language.
5: Easy Laundry access 24hrs. Esp if you travel light and shop a lot!
6: For the active night owls… there are 2 clubs next door (not host clubs) Jazz whiskey bar across the street.
Hope this is helpful. I would stay there again and again!!

When you check in you'll be directed towards a "Self serve" system even if there's no lines at the front desk. Very rarely will you interact with any member of staff, the halls are horribly muggy and exposed to the elements due to poor architecture design. Be sure to inspect the rooms thoroughly! I found our bathroom hand some kind of stain on the wall that came off with a little scratch from my nails.They also don't even tell you or have listed anywhere that there is a policy of going in to clean the rooms after 3 days for hygiene. I have no problem with this, but the back of the door says that housekeeping is done upon request and that's it, so as one could imagine it was disconcerting to come back to our room and find housekeeping where they weren't supposed to be!

Good budget hotel in the heart of commercial Osaka
High quality budget hotel. Excellent location in the heart of commercial Osaka. Hotel is clean, modern. Rooms are not the biggest but if you are ok with this and the lack of an external view then this option is fine. Stayed for 4 nights and chose hotel for location and easy of access .

Best stay, magnificent breakfast - would love to come back!
I was at this hotel with my daughter (15) for 5 days.
After a 3-week trip around Japan, we can say with full conviction that it was by far the best hotel on our trip.
The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of the Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street, and the subway stations are also around the corner. Dotonbori and Glico Man are only about 8 minutes away.
We had 1 room with 2 double beds, which made it very spacious. The bathroom was modern and had a walk-in shower. The bathroom was naturally equipped with all the hygiene products one needs.
One also had the option to do laundry inexpensively at the hotel.
The highlight, however, was the phenomenal breakfast buffet.
We would not have expected that, a very large, varied selection of Western and Japanese delicacies, plus a perfect selection of cold and hot drinks. I miss my fresh matcha latte.
The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, helpful, and speaks very good English.
My daughter left something behind in the hotel room, which was forwarded to her in Kyoto. She is still very grateful for that today.
The design and aesthetics of the hotel are very appealing.
On the 1st floor you will find the lobby, a reading area with a great coffee machine, as well as a small room where you can get water, ice cubes, etc.
We would come back anytime and can only recommend The Flag.
