We had an excellent time. The Hotel is relatively new. We upgraded the room to a corner unit with 32 m2.
The amenities look relatively new and clean. The only thing we did not understand is the glass between the room and the bathroom. Not only can you see another person inside the bathroom, but it also lets early daylight to come in. We hanged closes in front of it to avoid the first issue.
We chose this Hotel because it was close to a Symposium venue that I attended. It is about 3 or 4 blocks from/to Osaka station, which is quite convenient. My wife liked the breakfast (I do not opine about it because I usually have coffee with some small piece of bread or pastry).
They have a coin-operated laundry room which is very convenient. I also enjoyed the Jura machine they have in the lobby for complimentary coffee. You can prepare only a coffee or an Americano (I tried only the first), but not capuchinos or lates. They also provide drip coffee in the room. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Oh! I had the best burger in years (Wagyu) across the street from the hotel (I believe the place was called The Warehouse).

Unsuitable if travelling with family or friends. Bathroom has a clear window preventing privacy while inside, food is expensive/not complementary, and front desk was difficult to communicate with. However, room service was very fast and efficient.

Expectations fell short

As a sister hotel to Tokyo's Palace hotel my expectations were high.
It turned out to be a standard hotel. Rooms are adequate, but compact, in fact the smallest hotel room of all the hotels we have visited in our 3 weeks in Japan.
Location was a little out of the way but enjoyable to walk / metro to where you want to get to.
