Very nice place to stay

We only met the lady owner, but she was lovely. Very kind and helpful. She spoke good English and tried her best to help with all our queries. She suggested great dining options nearby. The onsen bath was lovely. The property was nicely kept and all was very clean.

The owners were exceptional! So lovely and went out of their way to accommodate us. We have never experienced such great customer service in our lives!

View Lodge Biwa is a really nice accommodation right on the lake shore at Manohama beach. Nice and quiet hotel with Japanese and western style rooms. The place is run by Chiaki (who is fluent in English) and her husband, who are excellent hosts.
