The hotel is located in the center of Sapporo. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Transportation is also very easy.
The room is spacious and well equipped. It’s perfect for families traveling with young kids.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had 5 wonderful days in Sapporo.

Great family hotel in one of the best locations in Sapporo.
41 Pieces is a funny name for a great hotel that is in a great location and very family friendly.
The staff spoke English well and were always smiling when we enter or left the hotel. They were also very accommodating including letting my brother's family check in early without a fee which is a rarity nowadays in Japan. Check-in was very smooth and they offered a gift if your stay is 3 days or longer and you are willing to forego housekeeping. They explained that there are towels and amenities like toothbrushes, soap, etc in the lobby area by the elevators. That made the decision easy for my wife and I. We chose a nice bottle of Hokkaido sake as our gift.
There are only 4 rooms on every floor and from the floor plan, they look to be the same size. My wife and I had the room with 2 beds and it was very roomy. My brother's family of 4 had the room with the bunk beds. His kids LOVED the bunk beds and refused to let any adults into their area. The beds were comfortable although the pillows could be a bit firmer. Every room had a Dyson hairdryer which my wife appreciated. It is also well-insulated and I did not hear any noise at night.
The hotel also had a plethora of items you can check out from the lobby to use in your room for free. They had several different sake cups, beer mugs, an induction stovetop, and dishware. Most importantly for my brother's family, they had a lot of family games that his kids enjoyed when stuck at the hotel. The hotel also has an expresso machine in the lobby. While the drinks are not free, the price is set very reasonably (450Y for an Americano) and the staff makes a great expresso.
The location of the hotel is superb. Close to Odori and Susukino and a short 5 min walk away from the Tanukikoji shopping street. A quick note if you are taking the subway to the hotel with luggage. Google Maps will tell you to use exit 11 from Odori station. However, you would have to walk up stairs. It is better to stay on the underground shopping area until you get to the Tanukikoji exit where there is an escalator to take you to the ground level. There is no shortage of restaurants around the hotel with everything that you could possibly be looking for. Its also a short walk to Odori park. We had 2 rainy days during our stay so it was great that everything wasn't too far from the hotel.

Excellent location. Ample parking nearby. Free coffee and tea equipments, cooking utensils, board games and records to borrow have totally added value and enjoyment to the stay!

The rooms were extremely spacious and the location is within walking distance to Susukino and the Odori Park subway station. The staff were also extremely helpful and great with our requests. We also borrowed sake cups and vinyls, little perks that made our hotel stay feel like a cosy home stay.
Will definitely recommend 41 Pieces to couples and families!

Overall the room was clean. The kitchen is very compact but has all the necessary equipments (stovetop, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle) and tools. They were well maintained. Also, additional items like drip coffee set can be rented from the front. Staff are very kind and responsive. There are convenient stores and drug stores nearby. The only issue was some foul odor in the bathroom (shower) sewage that required the fan turned on at all times.
