Hotel room was large and very clean. Dinner and breakfast were offered, but I wasn't able to get them as I had to leave early the next day. I'm sure both would have been great day!

Special Onsen Ryokan in Jozankei

Offering only 9 rooms this is a very private and peacedul place. We stayed in early Autumn and the colours of the leaves where just starting to change. Very close to Sapporo this onsen town is very relaxed. Dinner and breakfast both super impressive and all Japanese style. A special thanks to Masami san from customer service who helped me prior to arrival with our booking. Two onsen, seperated for male and female use. We had a Japanese room which can be used for up to 4 people, but i think use for 2 guests was perfect. Yukata, happy coats, slippers all provided for onsen and dining use. The staff tried really hard to help us as foreigners at meals to introduce the foods and also at check in and check out. 2 nights would be perfect here as the area is peaceful and tranquil.

You were familiar with Japanese culture and enjoyed a new experience, communication with us and feeling the nature in Jozankei. Our ryokan have 10 rooms actually, you have mentioned 9 rooms but there is a "secret room" on the building of onsen which is separated from the main building!, and the small number of people organize our ryokan. Then, sometimes it is not easy to respond to requests or inquiry right away such as big city hotels do. You have contacted us with plenty of time in advance and we could communicate with you well. Thank you so much for lovely experience to welcome you to our ryokan !

酒店駕車較理想因是在山腰上, 叧酒店雖然較舊, 但房間及共眾地方十份整潔, 沐場適服因每日最多只能接待10組客人, 所以十分寧靜, 食物美味, 工作人員好友善.
