Would consider coming back again

Reasonably priced. Very good location. Close to shops and public transport. The room was clean. The ryokan itself may benefit from a bit of renovation works. But all in all it was a good choice. We enjoyed its bath.

Close to Station, Reasonably Priced

Stayed 2 nights in this old but clean accommodation very close (5 minute walk) to the train & bus stations, visitor info centre and a grocery (Lawson) where you can buy food, coffee etc. Also walking distance to Hayatama Grand Shrine and other attractions. Our double double room on the first floor was spacious enough with a shared private bath and Japanese Western toilet equipped with different cleansing buttons (washlet). No electric kettle in the room, only refrigerator, and there was a microwave in the hallway. Owners didn't speak good English but were nice and we could communicate. Price was reasonable compared to many other hotels. We had a day trip by JR train to Kii Katsura and by bus to take the Daimon Slope trail leading to Kumano Nachi Grand Shrine and Nachi Waterfall.

Disappointing

Tired, not up to the standard of cleanliness that we had come to expect, desperate need of decoration, duvet smelt. Japanese wc. Convenient location for the train & bus to start the Hongu pilgrimage walk

努力すべきところを努力しない旅館

ゴールデンウィークで、なかなか宿が見つからない中、唯一空いていたこちらの旅館にお世話になりました。
古い建物には慣れていますし、まったくもって気にならないのですが、掃除ができていないのには閉口しました。部屋の壁には埃が垂れ下がっており、畳の上や布団の上には前の客のものと思われる髪の毛が落ちてました。努力をすればお客様を快適に滞在させられるところを努力しないのはいかがなものかと。
また、宿泊した部屋の隣が新聞屋という地獄のロケーションで、午前2時過ぎから恐ろしくうるさかったです。
正直なところ、酷くオーバープライスに感じましたし、まだ車中泊した方がマシでした。

Proche de la gare

L’endroit est facile à trouver. Notre chambre était spacieuse et propre et le ryokan donnait deux serviettes par jour. Mais la pièce sentait l’humidité et la salle de bain aurait eu besoin d’un bon nettoyage.
