The hotel is located in a little village with just a few restaurants, but the next little town over has a little grocery store and a few more restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and it was quite good and quite a good portion. The staff are wonderful and the owner speaks English! He was so very helpful, helping us get reservations, plan excursions and rent a car, such a nice and helpful fellow. It is also on a lovely beach on a calm protected bay and the sunsets and night sky are wonderful, as is the quiet!

Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended

A hidden gem

The hotel staff and shop owners are all very cordial in their service, so you can have a great time. The residents of the area of Kanritsu, where the hotel is located, are also very kind. As I was leisurely looking at the coast in front of the hotel, a local resident came up to me and talked to me, explaining about the coast.
Recommended for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. The chirps of the birds from the jungle-like trees, the deep green scent that goes beyond negative ions, and the stunning views of the coast all make for a soothing trip.

Stunning

Absolutely brilliant experience staying here. I had been dealing with very bad news and I needed to escape and find a paradise to clear my head. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect and beautiful place. Yuji san was so kind and gracious as a host and made me feel at home. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better either.
I truly fell in love with this place . I will be returning next chance I get.

Highly Recommended

The hotel is exceptionally clean and run by an affable manager—fluent in English—who will go out of his way to accommodate guests. The location is perfect for exploring Iriomote: a short drive or relaxing bicycle ride away from the island’s best beaches or trails to beautiful mangroves and waterfalls. Also, a great option for those who want to stay put. The beach in front of the hotel is perfect for relaxing, swimming, searching for beautiful shells, or catching a gorgeous sunset. On a clear night, the easily accessible rooftop is a convenient place to stargaze. I feel lucky to have spent time here and look forward to going back.
