Money worth, many hot springs, u would not feel crowded even many guys using together.

The rooms were good and the service was fine, it just seemed like the staff wasn't well equipped to serve english speaking guests.

Japanese kitschy. Rooms were nice though and fun for kids. Wasn't clear that the kid activities (pool, kids land) incurred costs even for hotel guests.

This is a very authentic Japanese hotel and appeared to be mostly Japanese tourists. The dinner buffet had very loud live performance and the audience was definitely into it. There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. It's about a 45 minute train from the Nara Park, we may have booked a closer place if we'd known, but for the experience of staying at this hotel it was pretty much worth it.

A hotel with a distinctive health spa

This is a fun hotel that combines a hotel and a health spa.
Men can use the health spa at all times, but
women can't use it until midnight and can enter from 6am the next morning.
The price is the same for one night...
At 6am, all the women who had been waiting come in at the same time.
Because it's time for the breakfast buffet,
everyone rushed in and rushed out.
Because they all came at the same time, the hair dryers were also crowded.
If they could receive the same service as men, they could take their time in the bath even in the middle of the night or early in the morning.
Just because they couldn't use it for almost six hours didn't mean that the water was fresh.
There was gritty sand at the bottom of the bathtub and trash was also sunk there...
Also, I wanted to get a bigger room because I went with my family, but
the first and second largest rooms, the deluxe twin and royal twin,
only had smoking rooms, and non-smoking rooms were only available from the third largest room onwards.
I think this hotel would be enjoyable if men and women could receive the same service and they took the passive smoking prevention law seriously.
