民宿的位置在弟子屈町外圍，不過開車離市區挺近的，約5分鐘就能到車站超市等。
老闆娘的接待非常親切，因為我們完全不懂日文，她很貼心用一些英文句子讓我們了解民俗的設施，很貼心。
我們住的房型是塌塌咪，有一個客廳和睡房，有很大的空間能享用餐點、玩遊戲或看電視，很舒適。
男女各有廁所與浴室，很特別的是它的浴室有提供溫泉，個人很推薦一定要體驗它的溫泉，有淡淡的硫磺味，不刺鼻，泡完整體都會放鬆舒適。
洗衣費用非常佛心，老闆娘很體諒旅客，收取的價格真的很便宜，衣服烘乾還到熱熱的程度，現在回想起來還是很感動。
房子真的很有歷史，走路時蠻大聲的，不過房內基本上聽不太到走廊的聲音，所以影響不大，可以體驗昭和風情，入住之前本來還有些擔心乾淨程度，不過入住之後發現整間房子都打掃的乾乾淨淨，完全不用擔心（筆者本人有潔癖）。
本次的入住經驗非常好，有機會一定會再回訪。

Old, outdated, basic lodging

Yes, the owners are incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful, but the building is very outdated and basic. It looks like it has not changed since the mid 1970's inside and out. Rooms are small and cramped and only have shared toilets. There are sinks in the hallway, but for a shower you need to go down to the basement onsen bath area. This also looks like it has not been maintained in decades. They serve both Japanese-style breakfast and dinner, which are plentiful, but rather average tasting. So, for me, while the owners are a great source of tips about the sights in the local area, it could not make up for the overall condition of the hotel.
Pros: wonderful, friendly, helpful owners

やさしい夫婦によい温泉

ほかの方の口コミにも書かれてますが、
オーナー夫婦は本当に優しい方です。
暖かいご主人の話と、丁寧な奥様のファンも多いのではないでしょうか。
ツーリング客である私を快く迎えてくれて、もうバイクのお客様が少ない時期だからと、バイクを中に入れさせてもらえました。
お風呂も非常に熱く体に効きそうな感じでした。
次、摩周に行くときも必ずこちらに泊まります。

部屋も建物も温泉もかなり年季が入っているが、ご主人の人情に触れて

　過日、摩周温泉の一つとしてこの民宿温泉を訪れる機会がありましたので、以下に報告申し上げます。
　場所は、JR釧網線の摩周駅を背にして直進している道路を進みます。信号機がある、奥が細くなっている十字路を左折します。右手に大きな病院が見えて来ますので、川に架かっている橋を渡りきって病院の手前を右折し、道なりにキャンプ場の方に進み、曲がり角を曲がった右側に、温泉旅館の看板とは思われない奇抜な看板と建物が見えて来ます。建物もかなり年季が入っているので、見逃してしまうかもしれませんが、焦らないで探して下さい。駐車場は道路の向かい、川沿いに有り、かなりの車が駐車できそうです。
　チェックインは１６：００～ということですが、私が訪問した時は前線の影響で急に大雨になり、道も分からず、とにかくすぐに行きたいといい、駐車場で３０前に待機していたら女将さんが気の毒そうにしてチェックインを特別に受け付けてもらいました。日帰り温泉客と同様に、本来はチェックインが１６：００～なので、ご注意下さい。
　部屋は２階にあり、１０畳のシングルユース、バストイレは別で、トイレは２階にあるのが和式、１階にあるのが洋式で、バスは１階奥の温泉になります。温泉は大きな浴槽が２つあり、泉質は弱アルカリ性低張性高温泉だそうで、源泉は７０℃あるそうです。私が入った時は温めで、しかしすぐに汗が噴き出し、侮れないと思いました。洗い場は３箇所、風呂桶は「ケ〇リン」で、ノスタルジーを感じます。但し、タオル類と歯ブラシ類は有料で、利用の際には持参した方が良さそうです。
　夕食は、本来は付いていない宿泊ブランでしたが、女将さんに相談した結果、追加料金で出す契約をし、胡瓜の漬け物・水菜のおひたし・イカの酢漬け・マグロとホタテの刺身・エビ天蕎麦・豚の生姜焼き・味噌汁・ご飯が出ました。余り期待していなかっただけに、嬉しい誤算となり、大満足でした。そのまま食堂でご主人と話す機会があり、ご主人は東京出身で、現在があること、修学旅行で金閣寺が印象に残っている事などをとりとめもなく話していると、関西から来たお客さんも交え、かなり盛り上がってしまいました。
　朝食は鮭のソテー・胡瓜の漬け物・オキアミのくぎ煮・ところてんのようなもの・味噌汁・ご飯・バナナと、朝から豪快に食べまくりました。
　宿の外見だけで判断すると、宿泊にはかなり決心が必要な印象を受けますが、女将さんも含めて、人懐っこく、お二人とも流ちょうな東京弁に時々北海道弁が交じり、電車は「汽車」、タクシーは「ハイヤー」、とうもろこしは「とうきび」で、ずっと笑いっぱなしでした。ご主人は「口下手で」が口癖のようですが、なかなかどうして、充分に話題を振りまいて盛り上げていました。
　このパターンの宿、個人的に好きです。癖になりそうです。

外見はひきますが、部屋はとても清潔です。とても効きそうな温泉

場所も駅から離れたところにあるし外見も薄さびれていますが泊まってみれば何の心配もありません。70度の温泉がかけながしなのでかなり熱いですが、水でうすめれば大丈夫。リヤカー日本１周の主人が気軽に色々教えてくれます。奥さんもひかえめですが、手入れが行き届いているのは奥さんのおかげではないかと。
