Professional Hospitality

I had a reservation a few months in advance.
I didn't really care because it was a cheap plan,
We filled in the information beforehand to see if we could change the champagne on the plan due to the lack of alcohol, and they contacted us immediately and politely.
Even after that, they made a list of recommended souvenir shops for their families, and expectations were high even before their stay.
When we arrived, Okada-san, our guest relations officer, showed us to his room, and we were thrilled with the warm welcome from the housekeeping team and Mr. Tanaka, our reservation officer.
The detailed support and restaurant reservations during my stay were smooth and it was a very memorable stay.
The Concierge Desk asked you to find out where you carry the materials for the water pull and checked with the store.
I am grateful that I was able to purchase smoothly in the limited time.
Hanai-san was in charge at the restaurant and we had a very lovely plate and delicious sesame candy.
There was even a heartwarming surprise that Okada-san took a picture of me the day before and sent it to the restaurant! What's more, they made it compact so that it wouldn't become a burden when I returned home.
I was really comfortable with the excellent hospitality (clienteling) that was there for each guest.
Mr Okada even sent me off.
The location was excellent, and Ginza was very conveniently located within walking distance, and Yurakucho Station and Hibiya Station were also close by.
This time, we didn't use the pool, just the gym, but I felt even happier when we could use the public bath and relaxation space as well.
The hotel may feel old because of its age, but it was clean and nothing to worry about.
I felt that was covered by hospitality.
It's a great hotel to visit again.

I think the hotel location and service. I can’t complain about it. But the hotel really need to renovate in the coming years. It was quite dated. One thing that made me surprised was the TV. They are still using the old style one. Which other hotels are all using smart TV. With this price, it was not worth it. But hotel services and staff were excellent.

A Truly Perfect Introduction to Japan – An Experience Beyond Every Expectation

Our stay at The Peninsula Tokyo was nothing short of extraordinary.
This June, I travelled to Japan for the first time with my 10-year-old daughter. Coming all the way from Prague, I wanted our first visit to Japan to be truly unforgettable. I spent months carefully planning every detail of our itinerary, comparing many of Tokyo’s finest luxury hotels before ultimately choosing The Peninsula Tokyo. Looking back, I can confidently say it was one of the best travel decisions I have ever made.
From the very beginning, the experience exceeded every expectation.
Before we had even arrived in Japan, the concierge team had already impressed me beyond words. I would especially like to thank Ellie Hermoza, together with the entire Concierge Team, for the exceptional support throughout the planning process. Over several months, they helped organise every aspect of our itinerary, from restaurant reservations and transportation to multiple activities each day, including wonderful VIP experiences. Every request was handled with remarkable efficiency, professionalism and warmth. Their responsiveness gave me complete peace of mind, allowing me to simply look forward to our adventure knowing everything had been perfectly arranged.
When we finally arrived, we immediately felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was absolutely beautiful—spacious, elegant, impeccably maintained and exceptionally comfortable. Waiting for us was a thoughtful welcome from the General Manager with delicious chocolates and sake, setting the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay.
It was the countless thoughtful details that truly made the experience exceptional. The evening turndown service was flawless every single night. One moment perfectly captures the spirit of The Peninsula: one evening I had left my book open on the bed, and when I returned, the team had carefully placed a beautiful traditional Japanese bookmark inside it. Such a simple gesture, yet so thoughtful and elegant. Throughout our stay, there were many moments like this—small surprises and personal touches that made us feel genuinely valued and cared for.
The hotel facilities are world-class. The spa is simply spectacular and among the finest I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The gym is exceptionally well equipped, and both my daughter and I loved spending time in the beautiful swimming pool after our busy sightseeing days.
The culinary experience was equally outstanding. Everything we tasted was of exceptional quality, and The Peninsula introduced both my daughter and me to Japanese cuisine in the most wonderful way. Every meal became another memorable part of our journey.
Most importantly, every member of staff demonstrated the genuine warmth, grace and hospitality for which Japan is so famous. Their professionalism was effortless, their kindness sincere, and every interaction made us feel truly welcome.
Our first visit to Japan could not have been more perfect, and The Peninsula Tokyo played a huge role in creating memories that my daughter and I will cherish forever.
Japan has captured our hearts, and when we return—and we certainly will—there is absolutely no question where we will stay.
The Peninsula Tokyo has become our home in Japan.
