This place is not difficult to locate in Kinosaki Onsen. It only takes about 10 to 15 min. Dinner and breakfast were good too.

A unique experience in rural Japan.

A fantastic ryokan at Kinosaki Onsen.
The journey from Kyoto takes about two and a half hours by train, with an intermediate change. The village is fairytale, there are seven ryokans more or less large, bathing in natural warm waters is delicious. Morizuya also has its own private Onsen but still provides guests with a badge to enter the other Onsen for free. The hospitality of the owners is unique, you can wear yucate and kimoni and watch the preparation of maccha tea.

The hotel is a bit old but it is warm and cozy. The service is good. People is helpful and kind. A young gentleman, I think he is the owner, helps us take many pictures.
There is an onsen just next to the hotel. It is very convenient. Of course, you can go to the others within few minutes walk. The food is Okay, traditional hotel style.

Nice little ryokan

Nice little ryokan. The highlight is the owner who speaks excellent english and is very eager to help and take photos of the guests. The room was a bit small, could have done with some renovations, but it was cozy and very centrally located (although the town is very small) and close to the onsen. The service was good. The food was average.
