Onsen Ryokan in Koyasu Gorge

A hot spring inn in Koyasu Gorge. There is a bus transfer from Yuzawa Station. It is a long-established ryokan and has an atmosphere. Koyasu Gorge is also nearby and the location is good.

Relax in the splendid stone bathtub

I visited you at a day-trip bath. I took a bath earlier at the Toki no Yu in the back, which was a tasteful stone tub with Tarobe written on the Japanese paper sliding door. Next, I went to Yakushi no Yu, a large public bath, which was also a splendid large bath surrounded by stones, with two stylish windows. The hot spring was smooth with just the right temperature. I enjoyed the two hot springs at Dokusen. The quality of the spring is simple onsen and the bathing fee is 700 yen.

It's good to have so many baths.

There is a large hot spring nearby where you can feel the breath of the earth, and it is easily accessible for sightseeing.
The Inn employees, including the wife, were very kind to us and we were able to have a stress-free stay. Notable is the number of baths. There are so many of them that I just never get bored. One night might not have been enough.
The faint smell of sulfur was irresistible.
We had food in the morning and evening at the venue, and they were all delicious and delicious.
I couldn't stop changing the rice.
It is a deep snowy area, but it is open in winter, so I'd like to share it with Yukimi Onsen next time.

I was able to enjoy five different baths, and it was an inn I would like to come back to.

・Access: We took the shuttle bus from the tourist information center at the east exit of Yuzawa Station. It took about 40 minutes to get there. We were also given a shuttle on the way back.
・Baths: There were five baths, including a private bath (free of charge), so we enjoyed the hot springs to our heart's content. The bath in the detached hut had the best atmosphere.
・Meals: We ate in a large room. Dinner was more than we could eat, and was delicious and very satisfying. Breakfast was also delicious.
・Hospitality: All the staff at the inn were kind and warm.
・Sights in the area: It's about a five-minute walk to the entrance to Oyasu Gorge. If you walk along the national road in front of the inn, you will find the stairs that lead down to Oyasu Gorge. The large fountain is a must-see. The sight of hot water gushing out of the cliff wall with great force is very impressive.
