nice new hotel for Hayama

This is a new and rather pleasant hotel, rather reasonably priced compared to other nice hotels in the area, though the rooms are a bit on the small side. Our room included breakfast (boxed as a coronavirus precaution). There are a couple of onsen style baths on the 6th floor. We didn't have any major complaints, aside from the feeling we got when asking for advice about the local area that the staff didn't know much about it. But they were very nice and did their best to be helpful, so maybe they just need to get out more. I also felt their anti corona breakfast system wasn't very well thought out, since, in spite of the boxed food, everyone ended up touching a lot of the same equipment, such as toasters and tongs and drink containers. So it didn't seem to me much safer than a buffet would have been. Still, there was a lot of hand sanitizer around, so if people were using that, we probably weren't in any great danger.
We had one of the rooms on the mountain side which are cheaper and the mountain is also nice to look at. Since the windows are not huge, you're not missing all that much, though the ocean view is nice.
Though the room was only about the size of an average Japanese business hotel room, which is to say pretty small, the fact that the price is less than a third of the price of a number of similar hotels we looked at, makes it a pretty good pick. Keep in mind you may not have a bath or shower in the room, only a toilet, so this is a place best for people who like onsen-type baths.

Perfect for taking a break from sightseeing in Zushi and Hayama! Resort cafe with a stylish and open atmosphere

This is a lounge cafe on the 1st floor of Umino Hotel, just off the Zushi Coast. Although the space is integrated with the hotel lobby, it is freely available to non-guests as a cafe during the day.
The high ceilings and large windows let in natural light, making it a very seaside resort. The interior is also tasteful, and there are seats where you can take off your shoes and relax, such as the small rising space.
The strawberry powder snow shaved ice we received here was excellent. The ice is very fine and melts smoothly, and you can enjoy it while adjusting the condensed milk and strawberry sauce that accompany it to your liking.
There is also an original Hayama walking map near the front desk, making it a very recommended place to plan your sightseeing strategy or take a break along the way.

The staff's customer service is poor

The staff's customer service was poor.
I arrived 20 minutes before check-in and asked if I could check in early, but they said it wasn't possible. While I waited, someone who arrived later, just before 3pm, checked in first. It would have been nice if they had said something. The first female staff member who greeted me was particularly bad.
When I went to the first floor for breakfast, she didn't even say anything.
I don't think they were treating me well at all.
It's a shame considering the location was good. I never want to stay here again.

バンクルームを利用

海のレジャーを楽しむために一泊したいと思い、バンクルームを利用させていただきました。
バンクルームはカプセルホテルのような作りですが、ベッド以外にボストンバッグ一つくらいなら置くスペースはありました。
また、アメニティは通常のお部屋の利用時と同じものが揃っていると思います。(中身を細かに確認したわけではないですが…)
注目の大浴場からは海が一望でき、遠くに江ノ島も見えました。
景色が見える明るさが残るうちから入るのがオススメです。
クレンジング、洗顔、化粧水、乳液と全て揃っているので、手ぶらでOKです。
体を洗うタオルもアメニティに入っています。
一つだけ不便なことといえば、レジャーで使った水着などを干す場所がないということ。
有料洗濯機はあるので、それで脱水して、ハンガーに吊るしてなんとか乗りきりました。
まぁ、価格が価格なのでそこまで求めるのも違うとは思うんですけどね。
なので、それは今度泊まるときに自分で工夫すべき点かなと思います。
朝ごはんboxは、外に持ち出し可なので、海辺で食べることも可能です！
