I left 3 days early!! Go figure!!

I arrived 3.30am exhausted and without my luggage as the airline had lost it. Went to the assigned room in an area that stank, and with screeching people next door. I found the room in a filthy, stinking, used condition with plates of half-eaten food lying around. My replacement room was much better with a comfy bed, but the bathroom was dirty with moldy grout and, damaged mirror. The large metal disc on the bathroom floor moved if you stood on it and was a danger as your foot could go down. The towels were grey and smelly.
Breakfast was so vile I couldn't eat much of it. The coffee was undrinkable. One morning I asked for bread and after 30 minutes I gave up and left.
The supper wasn't too good so I ate twice at Akash (opposite hotel .. 1st class). One night I ate in the hotel same time as a friend. I was violently sick a few hours later and had to clean up totally by myself even though I was promised someone would come with a brush/mop but never did. My supper companion and terrible diarrhea most of the next day. Twice during the week my room was not cleaned ...'well, they have gone home now'! Often, coffee etc not replenished then when you go to ask for it they say there isn't any. I checked out 3 days early and went elsewhere for the rest of my stay. They kept on about being 4 stars but the most important thing for me was safe food and hygiene, not the pool (closed up anyway) spa & gym. The foyer is nice, and there is a lovely independent Jordanian craft shop just inside.

Great hotel for families and outstanding service

I thank and appreciate the management of *Hotel Arena Space* for the welcoming and great service we received during our stay.
Thank *Mr. Zaya* for his top-notch approach, outstanding attention to guests, and *Mr. Ibrahim* for his consistent attention to room cleanliness and organization.
The hotel is top-notch and has great facilities, including a rooftop pool, and an indoor with a sauna and steam room, adding more comfort and relaxation to our stay.
My little son had lots of fun swimming and it was a nice experience for the whole family.
*We will definitely return to stay at this hotel again and recommend it to .

Bad bad bad !!!!!

The room was not clean; I found hair on the sink.
The faucet was broken and kept leaking water all night until I had to shut off the valve.
The towels were in terrible condition—not clean at all, with a strong moldy odor.
All of these issues I could have overlooked or tolerated.
However, what I cannot ignore—and what compels me to mention all of the above—is the behavior of the morning shift receptionist.
His attitude was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for someone in a front desk position. I requested fresh towels to replace the dirty ones:
1. He did not apologize for this serious mistake.
2. He told me, “Okay, I’ll bring them right away,” yet kept me waiting for 10 minutes.
3. When I called again to remind him, I joked and said: “Will you bring me the towels, or should I just leave the room?”
To my surprise, he replied rudely: “Okay, my friend, it takes time—10 minutes, 15 minutes.”
I told him, “It shouldn’t take you 10–15 minutes just to bring a towel.”
He answered again, disrespectfully, saying: “Or else.”
At that point, I said, “Thank you, I don’t need them anymore.”
He simply replied, “Alright,” and ended the call.
This was the worst stay I have ever experienced, and it will certainly be the first and last time.
I do not recommend this hotel at all.
As a Reservations Supervisor myself, with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say:
If this staff member were working in my hotel, I would not allow him to remain in his position for even a single minute.
He demonstrates no professionalism whatsoever and lacks the essential qualities of an ideal front office employee.
